We are continually upgrading your fitness app with new features based on your feedback. Please add a new idea, or vote on an existing idea. This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Ability to link existing members in InBody Web into Trainerize

    Right now, Trainerize creates a new record for each client.

    I wish Trainerize can detect the existing members in InBody and link up the systems that way.

  2. More metrics for “hiking” activity

    I work with a lot of hikers/outdoors people, and they like to share their mileage and elevation gain, not just the time it took to hike.

    Please add more metrics for the hiking activity.

  3. Easily allow for trainers to be swapper in appointments

    Allow for appointments to swap out trainers with the edit appointment feature so they can easily be swapped out by mangers, admins, owners, or have trainers have receive coverage from other trainers.

  5. Add in a heart to the “liking” part to messages

    My clients always send me messages of how they’re doing and I feel bad just giving a thumbs up so a heart would be great to recognize their message!

  6. Repeat occurrence for scheduling Workouts

    The app already asks for the phase length so you should just simply be able to schedule "every Monday" and then it should automatically fill the schedule. The fact that I have to click each and every day on that calendar is silly and a waste of time.

  8. After the set of an exercise is done, if there is a rest right after, automatically start it so the client can be taken accountable

  9. Secure app with Face ID or password option

    A client suggested to have the app secured with password or Face ID unlock as an option for Apple users. Some clients are sensitive to who could see their biometrics if phone is lost or stolen.

  10. Booking in clients for a bunch of recurring classes in one click

    I have group sessions (ty trainerize for making this a function - love it very much!)

    The group sessions that always run same day and times can be booked as a series on the calendar.
    It is not yet possible to add a client to the whole series. You have to go into each day for the sessions they will attend for the length of time of the program.
    It would save a lot of time and help me efficiency. Being able to add a client to the whole series and then remove them from future series when their program…

  11. Allow trainers to be able to toggle between their trainer accounts

    Some of our trainers have their own personal training business in which they also use trainerize. They would love the option to toggle between their trainerize accounts instead of logging out and logging back in

  15. Daily Weigh-In Zaps to Google Sheet

    An amazing feature would be to Zap in REAL-TIME a client's Daily Weigh-Ins, Measurements, and Calorie Intake into Google Sheets.

    This would also eliminate hiring data entry staff. Money saved, efficiency gained.

  17. When Upgrading Plan, Show Total Amount that is Being Billed for Pro-rated Amount

    When you go to upgrade your plan to a higher plan, it will not show the total pro-rated amount that will be billed until after purchasing it.

    It would be ideal to see this before accepting the upgrade/being billed.

  19. The ability to create quizzes

    Have a section where we can build out custom learning courses where they check off each step before they can move on to the next one. Each step can include text, survey/quizzes, or videos. It would be nice to create our own library of these courses to upsell or offer free to clients.

  20. Allow in-app sign ups and seamless in-app purchases via AppStore or PlayStore

    My business has a significant amount of people trying to download my app and they're blocked from signing up.

    Also, after that, they cannot upgrade to a paid plan in-app.

    We are ok with the app stores taking 15% of the commission as it outweighs the loss in business of people not being able to seamlessly sign up.
