Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Being able to manually switch a clients training schedule with a mobile device

    I would like to be able to rearrange my clients training schedules each day from my mobile device. Some of my clients training days have workouts out of order and I’d like to switch that.

  3. Allow clients to favorite workouts as well as easily inform them if a specific workout has been completed before

    Allow clients to favorite workouts as well as easily inform them if a specific workout has been completed before (I have an “on demand” training group and this would be a great addition to improve user ability for clients on “loose” mode)

  6. More control/customization over progress date-range.

    In the short term, we're limited to the current month(calendar month, not 30 days) and 3 months.

    That means that if it's Nov 5th, we can either pull up those 5 days only, or we have to pull up the next shortest filter, which is 3 months.

    If we have only had a client for a month, it's challenging to show progressions when the data is either so small(current month), or when there's so much empty space(3mo).

  7. Can you make promotional video that I can use for my Facebook page or website?

    I want a professional video to use on my Facebook page that shows potential clients how Trainerize will work for them.
    Would it also be possible to share videos from the exercise library to Facebook/Instagram so I can post an 'Exercise of the day'?

  9. Replace/Add new upper body foam rolling exercises

    I want to do mobility workouts for my clients and for the foam rolling the form is worse than horrible. For some of them the person demonstrating rolls all over his low back. And for other, the "chest foam rolling", couldn't be worst, the guy rolls from his armpits all the way down his chest, and first, that's not how you roll your pecs, and second, that is no possible to do for a woman for obvious reasons. I'll have to film my own videos for this. Please, please, replace those videos or just delete them for avoiding someone using…

  10. Toggle between coaches and their programs.

    When working with more than one coach using the same app it would be helpful to be able to switch between them and their programs without having to log out and log back in every time.

  11. Time customization

    Something I would love to see is the ability to completely customize times/ time targets. From 0 sec to however long I need it to be. Not 10 minutes then 15. I want 11 through 14 minutes too.

  13. Automatically show trainer recommend % of weight increase from week to week

    Once a workout is built, for progressions, I wish I could add the percentage or # of increase to auto populate each time an exercise is scheduled.

    Ie. Back squat @ 100 one week auto plans for 105 next week.

  15. colour coding for clients on different programmes

    Unfortunately, all tag options are grey which means that it is impossible to identify from a quick look which programmes clients are running from. For example, it would be great to be able to identify clients who are on a programme but who are also perhaps booked for a more 1-1 approach so that we can pay extra attention. Or indeed, identify 1-1 clients easily from group clients who may have more contact time.

  16. timer upgrade

    two things I'd like to see with the timer:
    1) I would like to enter my own times, or for there to be a much wider variety of times, like every 5 seconds or so.
    2) I would like to edit the rest times in the progressions like I can edit sets/reps. Example: I would like to increase reps and lower rest over the course of a block, or lower reps and increase rest over the course of a block.

  17. The ability to edit a workout and it update to all the already scheduled workouts without having to delete,re add & add progressive overload

    When a client faces a injury or a issue eg. no gyms and you want to adjust/edit the programme/workouts, currently I need to edit the workouts, then re add back to the calendar as it does not update to the already scheduled workouts. As i need to re add onto the calendar It then means I need to re type out progressive overload settings for each client as when you delete then re add to the calendar the progressive overload settings re set to the beginning.

  18. Assign a Challenge of the Day for Groups (besides WoD)

    Just like the idea with the Workout of the Day, I think it would be awesome to be able to assign a Challenge of the Day like:

    "Today let's see who can avoid eating sweets"
    "Today let's see who can hit 10k steps"
    "Today let's see who can eat sufficient protein".

    I think this would be really useful in helping people with the Habits part while using the peer pressure of the group (in a positive way).

    Waiting to see some feedback from other people regarding this idea.

  19. Second email confirmation

    Add a second email address box for clients when they are setting up their profile to help avoid invalid email addresses from being entered. Upon setup, new clients would have to enter their email address twice to ensure they both match. Better customer experience and would ensure that welcome email gets sent to correct address along with embedded forms
