Having the option to use metric measurements and adjusting the meal plan to their customised macro goals!
1) My clients track their macros/calories by weighing their foods to the gram. Cup or spoon measurement are highly inaccurate.
2) I want to be able to adjust my clients meal plan to their individual macro split. Currently, this is not possible unfortunately.

More variety in meal planner
There should be a larger variety in basic recipes available. Example- a turkey burger cannot be found and is basic.

Selection of Culture/Ethnic Groups in Meal Choices/Recipes in Meal Planner
Clients need to be able to access cultural foods so they can be successful with their goals. Having recipes from many large cultural groups will ensure all clients can find foods they actually eat.

More caloric dense meals with less bulk for higher caloric goals
When trying to fit 2,000 calories into a 3 meal split it looks like meals are populating with larger portions, though not necessarily realistic.
ie: 12 egg whites and 4 1/2 eggs or almost 3 cups of Greek yogurt in one smoothie

Opt out of using sucralose /non-caloric sweeteners
If we're trying to get people to eat better and eat "whole foods" that are nourishing why are we suggesting non-caloric/hyper palatable sweeteners? There are countless studies that show the negative impact of artificial, non-caloric sweeteners on gut health. Not to mention it continues that perpetual cycle of constantly craving 'sweet' vs savoury? Just a thought. I tell my clients to use maple syrup, date sugar or even coconut sugar.

Monitor added sugars
I am big into having my clients watch their added sugar intake. I don't see a location where myself or my clients can see "added sugars" and would love this!

smart planner as a guide not a goal
Allow the smart planner to be a guide not a goal. My clients like the planner but the calories are only set to the 100's.
The smart meal planner should be available as a guide not a calorie set goal specifically.

Ability to add nutrition advice notes somehere
It would be helpful to add nutrition note for ingredients swaps knowing what your clients like or should avoid.
I dont recommend sweetners but choose more natural choices and would like to give my clients that advice as a note to the recipe.2 votes -
More snack ideas on balanced macro split
I only ever see the same snack options to pick when having “balanced” macros which most my clients have yet there are soooo many options in discover or popcorn / fruit and whipped cream can’t be given on “balanced” macros? The other macro spilts are too high protein so I mainly use balanced - but lack of snacks.

customizing sample days
Is there a way that we can make it so the calories can be different for different sample days of the meal plan? ie: Day 1 higher calories Day 2 lower (and, maybe be able to label them- instead of Day 1 could change it do something else like Training day or Non Training Day)

Allowing more then one snack to be an option on the Smart meal planner
It would be nice on the meal planner if I could add a snack when it is under 1400 calories instead of just 3 meals .

allowing us to exclude more foods/allergies
I have a client that is allergic to tomatoes. It would be very helpful if we could choose other things to exclude in the meal plan rather than just the preset ones that trainerize has already picked

Include area to add notes to each meal to give clients directions and suggestions on preperation or substitues.
We need an area to add notes to give clients further directions on their meal plan. Water intake, substitutes for some of the ingredients and other helpful info.

Adding the ability for clients to see a list of all the meals and favorite them
Be able to make it so clients can see a list of all the recipes offered in the smart meal planner with the calories and macros visible and also a search option and then so they can heart their favorite meals and add them to a list for way reference later. This will help out immensely when trying to meal prep a full week in advance!

add individual items to meal plan
add individual items to meal planner, ie 40g oats, 100ml almond milk etc
you can do this with m any other leading apps like PT minder and Kahunas. if this is not implemented soon i will have to change because the demand is there for my clients and these other apps are cheaper and have unlimited client seats4 votes
