Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Ability for clients to view videos in Landscape orientation

    I've uploaded my own workout videos, each are around an hour in length. My clients watch, listen and follow. If a phone is all they have available, then it's difficult to see the form in the current default orientation (vertical). Would be nice if when the client turns the phone sideways that the content (video) would rotate with it and show up larger in "landscape" mode.

  2. Allow videos to be sent from camera roll as attachments in messenger.

    Currently, videos cannot be sent from clients to me or vice versa. This would be a helpful feature so I don't have to toggle back to texting when a video needs to be sent.

    For example, my client needed to send me a video of her home gym, but could not so texted to me.

  3. Schedule Messages

    Being able to schedule messages in Trainerize would be game changer. Ideally, it would be similar to email scheduling where we can send to people with different tags. This would help us save time if we go out of town, want to systemize our workflow, save employee cost, improve client experience and so forth. Any unread messages from clients would have to stay marked as unread and having the ability to organize messages to unread at the top would be nice too (like gmail).

  5. Basic class booking abilities for clients to self-book into classes with timeslots for classes or group training within Trainerize

    I need basic class booking where clients can browse class time table for the business and grab a spot directly in Trainerize without needing another gym management app.

    I have one membership type that allows access to all class or small group training spots. I also do not need trainer commission payout calculations or salary calculations.

  6. Ability to copy workouts from programs to templates

    I would like the ability to have all my workouts that a I build under the workout templates, regardless of whether I build them out under a custom plan for a client, under workout templates or under the programs feature. Perhaps having a feature where you toggle what "areas" that particular workout is saved to in an effort to make this feature more flexible would be most ideal.

  7. Disable business features such as earn a free month for shared trainers and below.

    Currently, a business owner has no way to disable features such as earn a free month for any of their trainers. Being able to hide such features would make the app feel more professional, especially when using a customised app.

  8. Free Trial Period without credit card

    I want to create a program where I can "sell" a 1 week free trial. With payments they have to put in a CC number before they can move on and I think that will scare everyone away. I would like for it to only require a payment if the cost is greater than .01

  9. Make auto-messages from the coach NOT cause unread messages from the trainee to appear as read.

    I have 100+ clients. When an auto-message goes out to new clients, say on their 4th day, it functions like a personal message from me and marks any previous unread message from them as read. I can easily miss something they have asked. Same with "message-all" functions - say I want to send everyone a great article or new blog post... suddenly all unread message notifications are gone.

  10. Add session tracking when creating packages in Trainerize Pay

    I would like the ability to add the number of sessions and price per session when adding sessions in Trainerize Pay. This would be helpful for
    1.Allowing for session tracking for 'in person sessions.
    2. Charge for additional sessions or virtual coaching sessions outside of the clients current package.
    3. Prevention of session surplus when a client hasn't utilized all sessions within a certain billing period. (this would need the option to bill client after the last session in their previous package has been used)

    Hi everyone,

    You can now schedule messages within the calendar.

    Simply open the calendar of a master program or the calendar within a client’s account.

    You will see the option to schedule up to 3 messages to be sent out at a particular time..

  13. Voice prompt stating "half way" on interval timer

    When performing an interval workout, it would be nice to have a voice prompt that lets you know when are at the half way mark of the allotted time. Example: for a 30-second exercise a voice prompt says "half way" at 15 seconds.

    The new interval timer with looping videos is slowly rolling out but you can manually turn it on via your settings > Advanced > Enable New Interval Workouts.

    With working out many trainers do not incorporate stretching, creating an area on the app that we can build add custom stretches and Yoga as well.

    Hi I'm missing tags for equipment choice being "Suspension trainer (TRX, Rip60etc.)

    It would be great if you add these in the list.

    You can build products and sell them on your Trainerize.me page.

    On purchase, you can also attach various automated actions to either subscribe someone to a program or join a training group.

  18. Allow me to define availability and let clients to self book/reschedule appointments

    Trainers should be able to plot in when they are available and when they are busy, so that clients can schedule and re-schedule sessions easy.

    Your clients can now self-book their appointments by turning on self-booking for those appointment types.

  20. Optimize for square or round shaped logo not just landscape

    My logo is more of a square or a circle than it is rectangle or landscape. So I have 2 choices. Either really small logo on startup, or stretch it out for landscape which just looks bad.
