Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. 75 min sessions

    I would love to see a 75 min sessions, or a way to create a preferred gap between clients
    I like to leave a 15 min gap between each of my clients for that i can have smooth transition time to clean my equipment and so i don't feel rushed between each session.
    when I am scheduling my clients myself that isn't a problem I just leave a gap. But when they self-book they tend to get scheduled back to back and Its inconvenient and unprofessional to keep asking them to change the start time.

  2. Ability to Cancel Appointment

    Ability to cancel an appointment instead of deleting it. The event should still appear on calendar with a strike through it to indicate it has been cancelled. This helps keep track of missed appointments ie. refunds, consistency etc.

  4. Confirm or deny a session booked by client..

    I would like to be able to say yes or no when someone books a session because I may have something else going on at that time that is not in my trainerized schedule so they automatically assume that they have a session and I might be going to lunch or something so if we could click confirm or deny and leave it pending until we do that as trainers that would help us and the clients stay on the same page

  5. Online Booking should not show WHO is in the class client is booking for. Privacy should be priority.

    When client online books, they should not be able to see who else has booked at the time slot.
    My current clients do not like the fact that anyone who is my client can see where they are booked.

  7. Ability to block appointment time out for lunch etc

    Enable the fitness coach to add a 'block for lunch breaks etc. So clients cannot book these times, and also so it shows up on calendar streams

  8. View trainer calendar

    Clients should be able to view trainer calendar availability without having to go through the booking appointment process and check each individual day for potential openings.
    They should be able to see all available openings for the week and have the option to then book in to them.

    Clients are able to book sessions but not remove themselves if they can't make it to the workout. I can remove them from it, but they can't do it themselves.

  10. Feature Request: Ability to Delete Session Credits

    So, here's a situation I recently stumbled upon: accidentally added an extra session credit to a client's account. Now, wouldn't it be awesome if we had the power to reverse this action?

    I'm thinking it could save some trainers (including me!) from those "oops" moments. 🤷‍♂️

    Proposal:

  11. Recurring sessions with automated billing

    Be able to sell a package of sessions to a client, track those sessions as they are used and have the session package automatically rebilled to the client once those sessions are used. For example, a client buys 3 sessions, for a week's worth of training. Once all 3 sessions are used that week, if they come in all 3 times, then the sessions are automatically sold again, ready to be used for the next week.   12. Automatically be added when on wait list

    Would be ideal if when the member is on a waitlist and a spot opens up that they get added to the class automatically. Other fitness places who have apps have this - example Orangetheory.

    The problem with the way Women’s Fitness has their app currently, is if you get on the waitlist, you get emailed when a spot opens up but if you miss that email, then someone will grab that spot and you miss out.

    Hopefully, this will be rectified.

  13. Have Asset Management capability within Scheduling / Appointments

    Have Asset Management capability within Scheduling / Appointments so clients could book more than one asset (example staff member & a space or specialized equipment like a sauna or ice bath or compression massage). Many gyms are including these value add-ons to business!

  15. Text reminders to clients for upcoming sessions

    To reduce the risk of clients missing sessions, it would be great to automate session reminders to clients when they have upcoming sessions via text message (Trainerize notifications don't always come through due to Apple/Android notification settings sometimes silencing them, but texts are more reliable).

  16. Make an app that works

    This app is terrible. It doesn’t work properly and custom support is horrendous. Members have not been able to sign up for my classes for several months due to an issue with my email?! Here’s an idea, how about you make an app that works. Thanks!

  17. Add an event without being required to select an existing client

    Allow booking of an event without it being required to select an existing client. eg. for an initial consultation with a potential client you dont want to add to the app until they become a client

  18. 50min appointments or 5min buffer

    I’d love to be able to either book 50 min appt or be able to had a 5 min buffer to a 45 min appt. My PT sessions are 45 mins but I book myself every 50 mins. This would be awesome if it could be done. I used to use this appt system for when I did 1 hour sessions and it worked beautifully. I know it would work great if I could just get the right timing.

  20. Ability to change appointment type from in person to virtual under the same "event"

    I have clients that are sometimes in person, but switch to virtual sessions. At this time, if I switch them in the system, they won't get charged for a session- a client should be able to utilize their sessions however they'd like, and as a trainer it is important they get charged for the session (for obvious reasons). A 60 min session is a 60 min session no matter how the client chooses to use it.
