Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Ability to access workouts in categories instead of having a monthly plan

    When users go into the app, the would have the option to select a category of type of workout and choose one workout to do

  2. More bodyweight/calisthenics exercises. Particularly isometrics

    Planches, levers, l sits holds etc.

    The whole bases of bodyweight exercises is that they use progressions to create load.
    Knee pushup
    Regular pushup
    Elevated pushup
    Handstand pushup
    Etc.

    Maybe a option for people to share their exercise libraries to join the main pack. With approval of course. For the greater good. So you dont have to film every possible exercise. You could have guidelines on what is acceptable and then open it up to the community. I would share mine.

    Thanks for the vote for this idea. We’ve added the push-up progressions to the our to-film list.

    If there’s any other exercises, you would like to see, please provide a list of the specific exercises so we can add them to our list.

  3. I would like the ability to add temporary exercises when updating scheduled workouts on web/computer.

    When updating/tracking a workout using the mobile app, we can include one-time exercises to the workout before saving it.

    We are unable to do the same when updating a scheduled workout via the web. We can only add sets.

    For example,

    Let's say that during a session, I added a finisher at the end of the planned workout... if I need to input the data using the web, I would have to go into the training plan, edit the workout to include that finisher, then go back into the scheduled workout and put in the data. And now, that finisher…

  4. Workout (ability to build microcycles in bulk)

    It would be useful to give trainers the capability to build an entire micro cycle at once instead of having an individual workout for the day.

  7. Customize TEMPO, REST, and EXERCISE in Progression Spreadsheet

    Being able to change tempo, rest time, and exercises themselves through the Progression Spreadsheet. It would be more efficient to progress through one workout rather than creating another similar workout in the Training Plan.

    ex:
    Wk1 - Goblet Squats - 3 sets, 10 reps - 60s rest - 4020 tempo
    Wk5 - BB Front Squats - 5 sets, 5 reps - 120s rest - 2020 tempo

  10. Separate exercises based on body part. Ex: Biceps , Triceps, Lower Abs

    I think the app would be a lot easier to use if the exercises were broken down based on body part. For example, if I search “Triceps” it should list all tricep workouts. Or have it to where you click the body part and it brings up exercises for that part of the body

    To have the ability to drip feed content emails to clients in your program like pt distinction has the ability to do this which is an amazing feature to be able to add another layer onto your fitness coaching services

  16. Better customer ( now it’s bad) experience when doing workouts!

    It’s to many steps (clicks) to start and end a exercise in a workout. Now the procedure is a 6 click setup for each exercise if you use the app (iPhone)
    1. Click on exercise 2. Start video 3. Click on fullscreen 4. Turn mobile sideways 5. When video stop click on back to return to list. 6. Remember what comes next as no marking indicates next exercise (in a long list also scroll down). Now begin from step 1.

    Ultimate would be a 1 click procedure. Click on exercise, video starts automatically and goes to full screen automatically when…

  17. Be able to graduate from a bodyweight to a weight exercise

    -the ability for clients to include amount of weight used, length, and reps, on every exercise (not only just one). For example:
    Hanging Leg Raise - you are only able to include amount of reps done, as a client, and not additional weight if applicable (if they were to do weighted hanging leg raises).

    Right now you have to use 2 different exercises

  18. Leave the rest periods alone

    It's great how we can do a rest periods after each exercise, however, the new format where when you click on the workout and it shows the rest period as a complete block under the exercise is too distracting. It makes it look like the workout is way longer than it is. It was better when it was on the side. It's harder to see what exercises are in the workout at a glance when there is a big yellow rest under each one. Just my opinion.

    Timed Supersets would be great. for example
    4:00m timer
    *Superset *
    Goblet squat x10 reps
    Goblet lunge x10 reps


    This gives a HELLUVA different experience when programming and tracking workouts.

  20. Ability to view clients exercise history inside the workout builder

    This should be fairly straight forward. When I am creating a workout for a client. I would like to look at the history of a specific exercise from within the builder.
