Better filtering in meal Discovery
More filtering options in the Discovery / Meals. I have clients that won't use this because they have to scroll through too many meals/recipes to find what they are looking for. Being able to have a keyword search, or more filtering options specifically by ingredient, like chicken, eggs, tofu, etc. would be very helpful.

Links to external meal prep sites
Links to external meal prep or meal kit sites. For clients who use these to prepare their nutrition it would allow them to download these directly and track their progress against goals automatically.
Suggest negotiated preferred rates with external nutrition vendors with pay away to trainer and sso capabilities to ensure seamless interface and increase streams of revenue for trainer.1 vote -
Importing recipes off the internet and having it calculate calories, protein, carbs and fat (myfitnesspal does this)
One nice benefit is being able to import or create a recipe you find and it calculates the calories and macros for that recipe for you to enter into your dairy.

Option to proof meal plans before adding to a clients profile (not after)
At present there is not a way to substitute meals in the advance food planner, to meals more suited to a clients preferences, when putting together a nutrition plan BEFORE its published to them. As a result they get a notification a meal plan has been added and then can get half a dozen notifications things have been swapped. The ability to proof the plan before publishing would be handy

Add option for clients to set grams as the default unit of measure for the Smart Meal Planner.
My clients use grams instead of ounces. They can select grams when adding food into the SMP but it isn't right away when logging their food. I'd like there to be an option for them to select grams as the app default so they don't always have to select grams manually.

hand portion tracker within the hand portion guide habits
I'd love for clients to be able to input/track how many hand portions of proteins, fats, and carbs they hit, rather than ticking or not ticking the habit off at the end of the day. Love that we can set goals for them but this would help as a coach to get a little better idea of what is going on when using hand portions guides.

Recipes that are truly low-carb/keto/carnivore
Hi for nutrition coaching I focus on Keto and Carnivore style of very low carb to zero carb meals. Because of this I can't prescribe most of your meals because even the low carb versions have potatoes, fruit, rice, and other items that I typically leave out or severely limit for my clients. I know I can add my own recipes, but will Trainerize be adding more recipes that follow these guidelines soon?

Receive notification when clients miss their daily nutrition goal
Ability to receive notification when clients miss their daily nutrition goal. There is an entry for missed workouts on the overview or client's dash, but there's no entry for missed daily nutrition goal or notification.

Allow clients to mark off that they have hit there target macros/calories
Many of my clients use different nutrition trackers and track their own macros. It would be great If I could still set a nutrition goal and they could just "tick it off" like a goal, but the data of nutrition compliance still come down into the dash reporting.

Adding a feature to copy and paste url links for recipes to import recipes right into the app.
In MyFitnessPal, you are able to copy a URL link from a recipe you found online to import all the info right into the app. Makes tracking more convenient if you are making something.

Have client's calorie and macro goals set automatically on purchase according to their details
The idea is having product packages include automation for assigning habits, as well as setting calorie and macro goals similar to how you can automatically assign a training program. This would save valuable time setting clients habits and nutrition individually. Perhaps having an option along the lines of 'Set client at x% deficit/maintenance/surplus' as one of the workflow features in the package automation menu.

Individual macros for each food item tracked
Would like there to be an option to see individual macros for each food item tracked for both my fitness pal connection & the food tracking from the app itself this way I can see how they inputed it and if it is correct.
EX: I see my full clients meals included for the day but then when I look at the overall macros for the day it doesn't look accurate, should be about 150 grams protein, but she sees on MFP and whats transferred to trainerize says over 200 grams. which isnt accurate. so one of the food items…26 votes -
Clients need to see food data prior to logging it.
The ability for the client to see the nutrition data for the food prior to logging it. And the ability to see how each meal adds up the macros throughout the day. JUST like you can with My Fitness Pal.

Change "Meal Plan" section name to "Nutrition"
Change "Meal Plan" section name to "Nutrition" to better more accurately encompass all service offerings as well as avoid misleading labeling.
Not all trainers/coaches offer specific meal plans so on an individual level, this is inaccurate and leads to confusing some clients of what they are receiving.
"Meal Plans" could easily be housed under "Nutrition" as well as the Tracker; similar to how one can/could simply go under "Programs" for "workouts" being as Training is made of Programs which comprise of different Workouts.
Not all states in the US legally allow "meal plans" and falls outside of scope. Placing the…

Having the option to create a nutrition goal based on sugar intake. When we have clients that are pre diabetic this would be GREAT.
Being able to reset insulin sensitivity and limit / create behavior change in people that seriously need to limit sugar intake.
