This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Audio messaging

    Please add audio messaging! This makes explaining complex concepts much easier to explain when clients have questions. It would also be nice to have this option as it’s very quick.

  2. Personalized Automated In-app Messages for All of the Milestones

    This already exists only for the first workout and first activity milestones. My clients love receiving messages when they hit their milestones it really boosts their motivation. Being able to have those already in place like the first activity milestone makes everything so much easier! Also, having the ability to customize it with elements like these {first name} {acivity} {milestone} would be great!

  3. Can't see who sent a reaction in messaging

    If you miss the notification to say who has sent a reaction to a message you can't see who sent it.

    It would be nice bc it would spark more convo between clients cheering each other on!

  4. Info on who sent last message in a chat.

    I would like to be able to scroll through my messages and easily see if I sent the last message, or if my client did. This could be achieved easily with an arrow that indicates whether the last message in the thread was incoming or outgoing. Then I know if I missed a client's message and need to reply to them.

  5. Increase video time in the messaging. 1 minute is not nearly enough for communication between clients

    Even 3 minutes would be enough time, but Ideally 5 minutes. What's the point of paying all the money for an app to give access to us 24/7 when typing takes so much longer and more effort than video communication? And telling clients to use another service like Loom is just pulling them away from time in app

  6. Program progress automations. Sending automatic messages to cheer them on, remind them of their goals, how much time is left of their progra

    I would like to be able to create a series of automatic messages that are sent to my clients weekly based on the length of their program. I would like to be able to cheer them on, remind them of their goals, at a month out- have a message about the end of their program coming, and then a one week notice to resign or their next options.

  11. Option to send an automated message if its outside of "business hours"

    Would love the option to have an automated message sent from me if a client sends a message outside of normal business hours. Would also be great if we could set business hours for when we get notifications. Boundary setting is important!

  12. Automated response

    It’s weird that the app automatically responds for trainers. For example, the app wished my client happy birthday as if it was me sending the message. Unaware of that message being sent when I was off work. I came to work the next day to meet that client unaware that my clients birthday has passed. It would be nice if we can at least receive a notification when the app is speaking for us. That way we can be consistent with the conversations in the chats, with our real life. So we can avoid the awkwardness of not knowing it…

    Send a scheduled message to ALL USERS. If I host an event, If I host a live, If I want to send a link/newsletter same day each week, or take payment from all on the same day of the month I want to remind all at the same time

  15. Longer videos in the attachment section of the client's profile

    In the attachment section of the client's profiles, there is a limit of around 8mb (1 minute max, sometimes even less, 50 seconds or so) for video uploads. This section would be really useful for any trainers that want to upload mobility tests that clients have done to track their progress. This way the trainer can track how the client has progressed from the start. This is the same for any exercises that the client may have had issues with.     Can we get an option to change the thumbs up response on the feed? Thumbs up is overused. I prefer to use the excitement emojis or love emojis so we can give more specific feedback

  19. Replace files space with client's activity feed in space next to messenger

    If you go to message clients in the web version of Trainerize, there's a blank space to the right of the messages for files. Could this space be converted to an activity feed for the individual client? It would help to quickly inform trainers of talking points or stats when performing check ins/ discussing program changes etc. and reduce clicking back and forth between different tabs

  20. Is it possible to connect the post-workout messaging with the regular messaging? It gets confusing having two separate messages with clients

    Is it possible to connect the post-workout messaging with the regular messaging? It gets confusing having two separate messages with clients, and is really inconvenient when either of us need to find a conversation, not realizing it’s in a different are of the app. It’s too much to have to work around and look for a message. I saw this was a request awhile back, but I don’t know if you realize how impactful this actually is. Thanks so much!
