This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Ability to turn off auto response feature with clients

    I have clients complaining about the auto response feature and how annoying it can get. Would be great if we had the option to toggle that feature on or off depending on the client

  2. Auto Responder FAQ To Clients

    I would like to be able to set up an auto responder to in app messages on Trainerize, so that when a client sends a message they are prompted to click on a link to an FAQ sheet.

    This would cut down on the amount time trainers need to spend responding to simple messages.

  3. Mute certain client message notifications

    Have the ability to mute certain clients. Some clients send numerous messages throughout the day and sometimes I need a break from them while still being able to receive messages from clients that aren’t so overwhelming

  4. Pin messages in chat

    To have the ability to pin important messages within a client conversation so the message is always there and can act as a reminder for both the coach and the client.

  5. Add assistant coach to existing chat

    I would love to see the ability to add an assistant coach to an existing chat between the head coach and the athlete. I don't want to assign athletes to another coach and lose the relationship completely, but add them into my chat so they continue to get automated messages from me and the assistant coach has full access to it as well.

    A group also isn't a good option for what I'd like as it would take away from the automated messages already programmed.

  6. Change time for Automated In-app Messages

    Many of the automated in-app messages are set to send at 9am, which is okay for some, but not for others (such as 1st day of a training plan) when you have clients who may workout much earlier than this.

    Currently not able to use this feature, and have to create individual auto-messages per client or program in order to send the "1st day" message earlier than 9am.

  8. Allow trainers to decide who gets the auto messages rather than the entire clientele list.

    I have different packages available some people get one on one coaching at some people opt for a self paced workout guide. I would like to be able to turn on my messages to some people who chose to do self paced because some don’t make sense when they are doing the workouts on there own time and speed.

  9. The ability to preset multiple messages to be sent out at custom intervals

    I record multiple coaching messages that I send to clients weekly. It would be great to have the ability to preset 20 messages in advance to be sent out to every new client that starts in a particular order.

    So as a client starts I could have a "Coaching video tab" that I drop onto a client and it pre populates all the messages that I have created in advance to that particular client and send them out automatically, weekly fortnightly or however we select.

    Personal trainer distinction offers this capability under a "Message centre"

  10. Link shortener

    Be able to use a link compressor to clean up messages/and other coaching media and not have the bogged down, "busy" appearance that occurs when linking products from Amazon, or folders to Google Drive

  11. edit auto messages without having to copy and paste and delete

    Currently, to edit an auto message you need to copy the current one, delete it, paste, then edit. It would be great to edit directly.

  12. Allow admins to audit or monitor messages from trainers

    As the owner of a fitness business, I would like to spot-audit messages from my trainers to ensure communication quality/

  14. Chat bubbles instead of banners

    It would be very helpful to view the chats in staggered bubbles (like imessage) rather than paragraph banners.
    it would also be helpful to have the ability to respond to a particular message in a thread like WhatsApp and the new iMessage feature.

  15. Toggle auto-messaging on or off for a custom client type

    the auto messages are great but it would be much better if we could turn them on/off for individual clients instead of all or nothing

  16. Automated messages

    If you have products set for Monday and they sign up a week or days before, for the automated messages to differentiate when to send the 3rd or 7th day of signing in to active or pending clients.

  17. Ability to mass message from mobile app

    Why can’t we send a mass message from the IPhone app? Select multiple clients and send a message. It only works from the web based site?

  19. Messenger Chatbox

    Have a similar feature to Facebook where you can access your messages on any page. It's a hassle switching back and forth to messages amongst doing other things. Having chat boxes in the bottom right would be so convenient.

  20. Schedule Automated Messages Anytime

    Not sure how this isn't a thing yet, but trainers should be able to schedule automated messages anytime; such as a weekly check-in message or reminder. Currently I have to go in every week and manually send this to my clients. This shouldn't be something you have to manually do.
