We are continually upgrading your fitness app with new features based on your feedback. Please add a new idea, or vote on an existing idea. This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Customise payment failure message

    The default message for failed payments is both impersonal and harshly worded. Providing access to customise the message would allow for better communication to clients who have had a failed payment.

  2. Ability to make phone number field required during sign up.

    I would like to collect the phone numbers of my clients so I connect with them. Make this a required step.

  3. Allow in-app sign ups and seamless in-app purchases via AppStore or PlayStore

    My business has a significant amount of people trying to download my app and they're blocked from signing up.

    Also, after that, they cannot upgrade to a paid plan in-app.

    We are ok with the app stores taking 15% of the commission as it outweighs the loss in business of people not being able to seamlessly sign up.

  4. Clients self pause subscription

    If a client goes on vacation, they should be able to self-pause their subscription without having to contact us to do it.

  5. More flexibility with billing/scheduling payments

    When I go to schedule a new package for a client (say their current automated program ends in two weeks) but I want to plan for their program to change at the end of this so I schedule a new program, the client panics because they get a message saying they need to accept the new plan and then have to pay for it in advance. I need a way to schedule out packages with being able to control the notify, pay, deliver schedule specifically.

    Can we find a way where the trainer chooses WHEN to notify the client of…

  6. Being able to set and change a product start date per customer - including new customers products already sold!

    Currently, there isn't a way to manually sell to a new customer, so you can't set the start date of that product after a new customer purchased using a checkout link (I,e, ALL new customers). You can't change the start day of an already sold product. Needs to be able to change the start day, or, if at last there will be a way to sell a product manually without sending a checkout link, to set the start date when you sell the product. (this was marked resolved missing the whole point).

  9. The ability to back charge clients for services and access to the app when cards decline.

    Clients who wait to update their payments should be back charged for the access. When the client gets kicked out and signs back up they essential receive access for the days that their payments don't go through. I have a client who took longer to update her info because she couldn't do it on her phone through the app. We had to resign her back up which created a new due date. She rarely accesses the desktop version. I would've updated her payment information for her but that doesn't seem possible either.

  10. Ability to lock a client in for a contract term

    I want to be able to take 12 monthly payments for a year and lock the client in once they've agreed to the product.

  11. Automatically distribute clients to trainers

    We have a sign up page but I want to automatically assign clients in a round robin way to a bunch of trainers so I don't need to do it manually.

  12. Multiple Payment Options in 1, 3, 5 or more installments for the same product

    Provide the ability to offer customers multiple payment options for each Product. Right now, I can only offer 1 of 3 payment options w/o having to create another Product for the different payment option.

  13. Allowing for card swiper to be paired to computer/mobile to take credit info (i.e. in gym for membership)

    Some of my older clients are technologically challenged. It would be great to be able to do a POS sale and take their CC info in gym

  15. Ability to enter in a privacy policy for each Trainerize Pay product

    Each product is different at our gym and we'd like to be able to customize the privacy policy for each product on our Trainerize account. Entering it in the product description box is not an ideal solution.

  16. Analytics within the app that shows how many clients converted from a free trial to a paid product

    I'd like to be able to track which products are the most successful in up-selling clients to more expensive products. If my free 14 day trial isn't up-selling clients into custom plans or boot camps, but my nutrition plan is showing more success in up-selling clients to those higher plans, I want to be able to keep track of this data.
