We are continually upgrading your fitness app with new features based on your feedback. Please add a new idea, or vote on an existing idea. This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Allow Logo Branding on Training Plan / Templates

    When creating a PDF-Printout of a training plan or a template, the printout is branded with your logo on top.

    This can be used to mail training plans to clients or to use the PDFs as a content marketing feature in the customer acquisition phase.

  3. Allows Trainers have welcome video

  4. Evolution Nutrition 4.0 Update

    I recently started using Evolution Nutrition's 4.0 version and it seems that Trainerize has not updated their add-on option for this version. Please add it. Thank you!

  5. Turn off # of workouts completed at every check in

    I have been with Trainerize since 2014 and some of my clients have been with me since the beginning. That adds up to a lot of workouts! Everytime they complete a workout they have to sit and wait for the number to add up to 1000+ workouts! It takes a long time to sit and wait. They are very loyal clients and I'm appreciative of that but they are becoming less and less willing to check in for their workouts when it takes minutes just to check in.

  6. Add pictures to a custom exercise

    You used to be able to add pictures when creating a custom exercise. Now that you can't it is a huge drawback.

    You can now use the mobile app to upload quick short videos in-app hosted within Trainerize.

    We believe a video conveys so much more information and provides a better experience for your clients so going forward, we are recommending the video option.

  7. Manual invoicing

    My clients have unique lifestyles/careers where regular, recurring, and automatic billing is not conducive to either them or me. I'd like to have total manual control to invoice any amount at anytime regardless of the package, plan, or training dates for any client.

  8. Allow each trainer to have their own payment processor

    Each trainer within an account should have the option to allow their clients to pay them directly and be able to check their earnings as well. Also, a link extension within within the account for each trainer would be ideal so they can send it to potential clients to sign up with them. The more clients a trainer gets means the larger plan that is purchased through Trainerize. Boom. You make money, we make money :)

  9. Create an audio file attachment to the exercises.

    I'm consistently giving Verbal cues to clients WHILE they are performing movements.
    If they are able to listen to me tell them how/ when to breathe + what muscles to engage it would be more like having me with them - like in the studio...

  11. Download all stats and photos into a pdf

    Make it available to download a clients full stats and photos into a pdf. That way if a client discontinues you can provide them with their progress or for their file.

  14. Ability to download MFP journals (breakfast, lunch, dinner).

    We have clients whom are using MFP to create their food journals. Would like to see capability if use calorie link to have access to the food journal by day on the calendar. Easy way for the trainer to look at what they are eating if not on macro's - by clicking on the calories and bringing up the food journal in the calendar.

  15. Export and import training plans

    Can we please have a function to import current training templates, and transfer them to excel etc.

    Some clients may/may not like using the app, or want to use paper, or want to be able to see all past results before next session.

    PTs mostly will have a template library or are building them, its the cornerstone of their business, so it's important to be able to import and export out of the software otherwise it looks like trainerize are being cheeky in that to create and only be able to use in the app without addition or taking them…

  16. Progression option for clients without preschedule workouts

    I would like to be able to enter a periodized program in progression view, but instead of making the workouts date-specific, I'd like to have them placed in a queue and automatically advance in sequential order to the next workout as workouts are completed.

    This would be a huge time-saver when clients perform their workout a day late, etc.
