We are continually upgrading your fitness app with new features based on your feedback. Please add a new idea, or vote on an existing idea. This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Manage FB/social media redirect links

    Allow for Trainers to manage/edit settings for link redirects when clients share via social media. For example, when a client shares their achievement on FB- allow Trainers to choose where that link goes.

  2. Let the client add exercise videos

    Allowing the client to easily add a video of themselves would be an awesome feature for both the client experience and trainer. A lot of clients get frustrated having to switch between different apps and this would take the evaluation part of an exercise out of text and email and into Trainerize; because that is what they have open mid workout. This will make for quick and easy feedback from trainers. Also, being able to side to side the exercise video given by the trainer and the clients video would make for a more observable learning experience.

  3. Prevent clients from scheduling or rescheduling workouts

    Some of my clients are experienced enough where I can post a workout to their plan and trust that they get it done on their own. For example. I have tell a client to complete workouts A, B and C this week but something comes up and they have to do it on another day so they are able to schedule their own days.

    While I also have some clients I wish to not give them the ability to reschedule or change workouts.

    It would be nice to be able to pick which clients have access to scheduling.

  4. Allow for multiple threads of topics for one client

    Allow trainer and client to have different threads of topics to discuss under aside from "main conversation". For example, one could be titled "Scheduling" and the other "Running". This will organize thoughts much better and allow for searching of communication history better.

  6. Training plans

    When we set the length for a training plan we have options for length week/date etc.

    Can you add an option for milestone or benchmark? When a client hits a certain milestone then the training plan is over and they can begin the next. So I would set up training plan A and when they hit the milestone it goes to training plan B automatically so it's automated.

  8. Automatic Email for Missed Workout

    Just as there is an auto reminder email, there should be a 'missed' workout auto email. And this should be customizable for each client. Since each clients needs a different type of motivation!

  11. embedding into existing website

    The option to "embed" the Trainerize login to my existing website works, but it is not what I was hoping - for it to be fully embedded. In other words, rather than being a link that opens a new page for my Trainerize site, I would love to be able to embed trainerize into a page on my website so that my clients never leave my site.

  13. Add an SMS reminder service to remind clients to perform habits such as take a multi vitamin (Precision Nutrition Style).

    Hi Guys, just a thought, can you add a "habit/task" reminder into the software. Either by email or txt message. This was I could automate things like "take your multi vitamin today" for many clients on the same phase. Precision Nutrition style.

  14. Alternative Videos

    Allow for an alternative video source (vimeo, etc) to be used. As YouTube is banned in some countries therefore all clients may not have access.

  16. More body fat sites

    More body fat sites I like to use 4 site test general populations and for athletes I prefer a 9 site for a more accurate measurement.

  17. customize consultation form bubble text

    I am not sure what the correct terminology is, but the text in the voice bubble that appears to be coming out of the mouth of the profile pic in the consultation form, is currently not user editable. I would like very much to be able to edit this text, and I am sure many other trainers would also.

    Hello,
    We are starting to post video content for Students. However, links to youtube display. Can you please let us know if there is a plan to be able to integrate VIMEO (they have digital rights type of protection under their hosting plan, which I believe that we can then manage/control access to paid students).
