We are continually upgrading your fitness app with new features based on your feedback. Please add a new idea, or vote on an existing idea. This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Option to have some TZ exercises available without the whole library

    I'd like to use some of the TZ exercises but not all. I'd like to be able to select which TZ exercises I want available in my library and hide those I do not want to use.

  2. editable payment page

    The payment page should DEFINITELY be editable.
    Translating the language of the BUY button and other parts would be really important to be able to provide reliability and credibility to the buyer.

    It would also be good to be able to make visual changes to the texts on the purchase page, such as bold fonts and clickable links.

    Connect and create a custom domain: Connect Trainerize to Existing Domain Name to my Website. Once a client logs in, I want them to remain on my website.

  4. PRODUCTS - Please allow PDF Products to be emailed directly to clients upon purchase without accessing their Trainerize account

    I would LOVE to be able to upload .pdf documents/products into Trainerize where clients can purchase and instantly receive the product via email without creating/accessing an account or filling out a consultation form.

    For example: I produce my own recipe books and ebooks that I sell on the fly and would love the client to have instant gratification when purchasing the product.

    As Trainerize focuses on selling digital coaching services with the app, any user will need to create a Trainerize account to access their app and payments..

    Seems like you might be looking to just sell digitla e-goods. You may want to look at Shopify for that.

  5. "Find in file" meal plan

    Add find in file function (⌘ F ... if on a mac) SO when client reference things on their meal plan I can look it up from their dashboard within trainerize while on my phone

  6. Personal : Trainer ratio dial

    Different trainers operate with a different Personal to Trainer ratio. I am 80% personal, 20% trainer. But what if some days my clients just want me to be 80% trainer?

    Client opens their profile and adjusts a dial to set the ratio that suits their mood.

    If a ratio goes towards Personal, the trainer will know to reach out and check in; and vice versa.

    It also provides intuitive insight into the client's expectations of their trainers.

  7. Auto messages for clients who have missed workouts

    It takes a lot of time to scroll down who has missed workouts and messaging each one of them. I would definitely love the idea to have an auto message when a client has missed a workout to keep them more accountable to their program.

  9. Reoccuring appointments options with endless duration

    having the ability to make appointments for an endless duration so I don't need to worry about forgetting to book them or double booking a client ? this is my only negative that I have with Trainerize.

  10. Show 'hit target nutrition goal' only when within 20 calories of nutrition target

    A big struggle I have is the accuracy of nutrition targets. It would be great to show that a client has hit their target nutrition goal when it is only within 10-20 calories. My clients don't realize that they are sometimes 60-100+ calories off of their target because trainerize says they've hit their nutrition goal, which can make it really difficult when you're increasing someone's calorie intake by only 50cals per week. Accuracy is important for this.

  11. Add a master calendar for personal trainers to see all the work from each client on any day rather than having to individually check clients

    It’s be awesome to have a master calendar to see what all clients have scheduled each day and whether or not they complete their tasks that trainers can refer to rather than having to check each client individually to see what they completed or have scheduled for the day.

    As trainers typically manage 10-30 clients, and clients might have a workout + 2-3 habits a day to do, a master calendar will quickly become unreadable.

    A better way to review recent activities is to the use the right “Recent Activities” panel to scroll down and review all activities. Does that work for you? Or there are specific use cases we’re missing?

    Similarly, if you are using Trainerize as a sort of booking system, we encourage you to try out the Appointments beta. Please email me back for access.

  12. Bring back the desktop version access for clients.

    I have clients that either have older phones that don't support the mobile version or clients that would greatly prefer the desktop version. It would be nice if computer access for clients was allowed back so every client can access it the way they prefer.

  13. Allow the option for regular trainers to not have access to their clients email addresses

    We are 100% virutal, and will eventually hire a lot of trainers. To try and prevent them from extracting the clients email addresses, leaving our business, and starting their own business, we'd like to limit their view of their clients email addresses.

  15. Add MeWe social media

    With all the new social media platforms being created. Could we provide a link to new ones? For instance, I am building a strong group on MeWe, but I don't have the option to provide the link on the backend side. There are a lot of new users on there, so it has become a fresh new audience for me.

  20. Being able to override MFP macro assignments

    I love that I can see my clients’ diary on trainerize, and setting their goals to hit it is cool, but I was that there was a way for me to assign their macros on Trainerize and when they sync their MFP, it would automatically set it for them. MyMacros+ used to partner with Avatar Nutrition, and it would automatically sync my assigned macros from Avatar Nutrition to MyMacros+. This would be such a cool feature that clients would love. It would be one less thing that they would have to worry about.
