Coach / Trainer - ABC Trainerize

We are continually upgrading your fitness app with new features based on your feedback. Please add a new idea, or vote on an existing idea. This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. being able to 'like' when a client hits their nutrition goal

    There is no way for us to comment on that unless we open it up in their profile. Being able to 'like' this when it pops up in the over view would make things much easier!

  2. Remove "good job" and cartoon graphics at end of workout

    Please give option to remove the cartoon thumbs up/congrats on your workout after rating. The rest of the app is really sleek and this is super cheesy. Plus for those of us that use workouts for meditation, habit videos, etc it doesn't apply

  3. Allow playable interval workout experience on desktop

    With work-from-home, so many people are doing workouts from home and people would rather see a big screen on their laptop than their phone. Now would be a great time to bring back the desktop version for clients to do interval workouts on their laptop!

  5. auto emails for weight loss achievements

    Even if a habit/goal has not yet been met, if a client is, e.g. trying to loose 20lbs, and logs that they are down 5lbs, it'd be nice for an auto generated message to be sent cheering them on for their accomplishment and encouraging them.

  6. Ability to Customize Trainerize Pay Invoice

    With the Studio plan, we should be able to customize the Trainerize Pay invoice to NOT include "Powered by Trainerize Pay".

  7. Don't allow clients to log into the app without entering their credit card info

    I have clients who received the initial "set up your app" email and have downloaded and logged into the app. I then "sold" them my product by linking the package to their account and Trainerize emailed them about putting in their payment info. But my client still has not paid. I don't like nagging clients to pay and it is a hassle to figure out which clients have paid and which have not when I am setting up workout calendars.

  10. client's being able to utilize the interval timer on the desktop app.

    I have older clients that would like to utilize their desktop or laptop to complete the circuits with timers.

  11. Ability to free type Nutrition goals

    Add an option to free type a nutrition goals instead of just picking from 3 options. Those 3 don't work for all clients.

  15. Make "Like" thumbs up on client activity a different color after it's clicked

    The new quick like feature for client activity is a great addition - but the fact that it doesn't change color to indicate that it's already been clicked makes it impossible to remember which activity you've already interacted with. It would be helpful for it to go from the outlined "thumbs up" to a filled-in "thumbs up".

  16. Be able to customize the cardio activity images

  17. Being able to override MFP macro assignments

    I love that I can see my clients’ diary on trainerize, and setting their goals to hit it is cool, but I was that there was a way for me to assign their macros on Trainerize and when they sync their MFP, it would automatically set it for them. MyMacros+ used to partner with Avatar Nutrition, and it would automatically sync my assigned macros from Avatar Nutrition to MyMacros+. This would be such a cool feature that clients would love. It would be one less thing that they would have to worry about.

  18. Allow trainers, not just clients, to sync their Fitbit

    Currently only clients can connect their Fitbit accounts to Trainerize. Trainers can only see the data pulled in from client Fitbit accounts. Would like the ability for Trainers to sync their Fitbit as well.

    As Trainerize is really built from day 1 for a client signing in to interact with their trainers and track their fitness.

    However, you can use the Peak Fitness labs app and sign in as a client. This is the app we use to train our team internally but you can sign in with your credentials.

  20. Offline working app

    It would be amazing to have the app work offline and it would be nice to track your workouts and everything else while you are offline (many gym's do not have internet connection and it is hard for clients to track anything while they are there if there is no internet connection.).

    So the app can track workouts/habits and ''chores'' for clients while offline...and it puts the data online as soon as the client connects to an internet connection, wifi etc... The same option is (for example) available with the TrainHeroic app also, so i dont see a reason why…
