This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Show weekly/monthly calories / macro averages in nutrition graph

    I would love to be able to adjust the nutrition graph overview by date range and view overall averages of each metric (macros/calories). This would be super helpful to have a clearer picture of whether our clients are tracking and hitting their goals effectively through each week.

    For example, if I want to see a client's nutrition data for 1 week, I should be able to set date ranges (i.e. 5/10/2020 - 5/16/2020) and see their daily numbers but also see the averages as well.

  2. Have different daily macro goals for different days or workout / non-workout days for carb cycling

    I do a lot of competition prep and within prepping meal plans. It would be great to set up different macro and calorie intake goals for different days out of the week. Because it would allow my clients to fully understand carb cycling. For now I have uploaded a pdf version of the meal plan showing that but would be great if that can be adjusted as well when it comes to programming it within your platform.

  3. Weekly average weight

    We need to have a seperate daily & weekly average weight metric tracker, not attached to measurements.

    At present if we ask clients to take a daily weight it will also ask them to take daily measurements.

    We need to be able to take daily weight, then ask for weekly average weight & certain measurements of choice (decided by coach & client)

  4. Ability to build my client's custom meal plan template or nutrition plan

    I would like to be able to add my clients diet's nutrition plan to the app and also be able to assign it to the calendar so that they also get the daily meals reminder along with their days workout. Like build out food items and meals in-app.

  5. Upload meal plan PDF or recipes to multiple clients / group at once.

    Allow ability to upload same meal planning document to numerous clients at once, rather than uploading PDF 1 by 1.
    (specifically my own meal plan PDF, not Evolution Nutrition ones)

  6. Add a Nutritionist Account Feature

    Add the ability to create a Nutritionist account.

    The Nutritionist would have limited access to accounts or client information, only allowing them access to nutritional info and meal plans.

  7. Allow clients to enter their own recipes with ability to change serving sizes

    It would be nice if clients could input an entire recipe into the app and then break it down into servings.

  9. Change "Meal Plan" section name to "Nutrition"

    Change "Meal Plan" section name to "Nutrition" to better more accurately encompass all service offerings as well as avoid misleading labeling.

    • Not all trainers/coaches offer specific meal plans so on an individual level, this is inaccurate and leads to confusing some clients of what they are receiving.

    • "Meal Plans" could easily be housed under "Nutrition" as well as the Tracker; similar to how one can/could simply go under "Programs" for "workouts" being as Training is made of Programs which comprise of different Workouts.

  11. More customizable options for client nutrition and bio-data tracking

    For coaches who like more data not less, it would be amazing to have valuable information available on a data dashboard. I personally do metabolic testing and I would love to be able to track how the clients metabolism (RMR) has been affected over time. Graphing of ones energy, hunger, cravings, mood, sleep, and water consumption. Most of these could be entered daily by client on an easy 1-10 scale outside of water and sleep which you would just enter oz and hours.   12. Individual macros for each food item tracked

    Would like there to be an option to see individual macros for each food item tracked for both my fitness pal connection & the food tracking from the app itself this way I can see how they inputed it and if it is correct.
    EX: I see my full clients meals included for the day but then when I look at the overall macros for the day it doesn't look accurate, should be about 150 grams protein, but she sees on MFP and whats transferred to trainerize says over 200 grams. which isnt accurate. so one of the food items…

  14. Apple Health Integration For Nutrition Macros

    You currently do not have a connection with the LoseIt! app among others. An alternative to this would be if Trainerize could pull macronutrient data from Apple Health in order to populate Trainerize. I think this would be a great option for those who don't use My Fitness Pal. Thanks!

  16. Allow nutrition data to be viewed in grams rather than percentages.

    I utilize and emphasize nutrition be tracked in grams rather than percentages, since percentages are subjective to what calorie intake is and grams are an absolute number (important for protein intake especially).

  17. Ability to see macros averages/deltas over time

    Instead of having to click on each day of the calendar to see the macro deltas, it would be great to be able to select a set period of time (ex. Last two weeks) and seen the averages over that time

  20. Only complete circles on nutrition summary of all macros met within 5 grams

    The circles on the nutrition summary are fully completed circles when the client hadn’t fully met them. Maybe change this to within +/-5 grams and make it green.
