CrossFit Style AMRAP workout - Ability to put AMRAP (As Many Rounds As Possible) as a value when adding number of sets.
Currently when putting in a value for the number of sets for the exercise it is not possible to put anything other than a number.
It would be great to have the ability to put in AMRAP if the exercise is to be completed for As Many Rounds As Possible in a set amount of time.
AMRAP in 5 minutes
Box Jumps AMRAP x 10 Reps
Pushups AMRAP x 10 Reps

This would be really great! Considering moving over to True Coach just for AMRAP & EMOM as most of my workouts contain them. Would be great to have them on Trainerize so I can stay!

Can we have a timer like for a whole workout and a AMRAP for a specific timer pre determined.
Jamie Dodgson commented
People have been asking for this since early last year! When are you going to add this? Very Poor

Within the programs be able to list the exercises under a 10 min Amrap for example. It’s not a circuit or interval. It would be nice to have a clock for the occasional Amrap

AMRAP's and EMOM functionality would be great addition to the workout option

agree with this, would like to be able to allow them to enter the amount of reps at the end of the timer for that exercise.

Yes please amraps
I'd love to combine workout formats and assign amrap circuits within the same workout. For example:
Warm-up set to regular reps
A main circuit of 3 exercises with set reps and targets with a running clock for how long. Example - 12 min amrap aiming for 3-4 rounds of each at RPE 7
I find an amrap structure and/or intervals helps people who build up the workout in their head to be something that takes more time and effort than it actually does. Having a clock running down for the whole or big chunks of the workout aids adherence. Having a function like this still allows me to give calculated targets while still giving people the benefit of something like a timed class that they know is over in x amount of time.
While you technically could do this with the interval function, I believe it could run a bit smoother with an amrap function because I don't need to figure out exactly what kind of time intervals each individual needs to not go too hard or too fast for their assigned reps and RPE.

When is this option being addressed??????

This would kind of work for me if it was designed so that I could do escalating density style training...
IE Perform 6 reps (in descending order determined by fatigue management) each of 2 moves back to back for prescribed XX time (ie 10 minutes, 12 min, 15 min,)

AMRAP (As Many Rounds As Possible)
having the option to group a set of exercises and having a timer

I've set an AMRAP workout for a client and tested it out to see how it would be viewed and I noticed that only at the end of the workout the client is able to record completed reps for each exercise within the minute. As there are various exercises within the workout at 1 minute intervals, it won't be possible for the client to remember how many reps they did for each exercise under the time constraint unless they log it separately on a piece of paper and transfer it over. Having a popup screen to log the reps before the window changes for the next exercise would be very helpful for tracking purposes when the client repeats the workout on another day.

I need to be able to program a circuit of exercises that I can place an amrap timer for the entire circuit. For example you have 10 minutes to do as many rounds of these three exercises as possible.

This needs to be added asap. Other apps are definitely more useful in this area. It helps keep the client on pace and increases intensity of workout.

HEY GUYS AT TRAINERIZE!
THIS IS OBVIOUSLY A POPULAR REQUEST (HAS THE MOST VOTES) AND IT WAS SUGGESTED IN 2015!
IT IS NOW 2020 - 5 YEARS LATER.
I APPRECIATE ALL THE FANCY TECH FEATURES THAT ARE COMING IN BUT I FEEL THIS SPECIFIC FEATURE IS BEING IGNORED. IS THERE A REASON?
AT THE END OF THE DAY, WE DO PROGRAMMING AS OUR JOB. THE TECH STUFF IS NICE TO HAVE BUT I THINK PROGRAMMING FEATURES SHOULD BE PRIORITIZED MORE.
IT IS QUITE LITERALLY THE ONLY FEATURE I REQUIRE ABOVE WHAT IS CURRENTLY OFFERED. PLEASE MAKE THIS HAPPEN NEXT.
Ability to put AMRAPS or EMOM in the program?

It would be incredible to have sections for E.M.O.M. And AMRAP components.
Some workouts might have an AMRAP component and finish on an E.M.O.M. (Every minute on the minute) Component.
I personally would love to see Titles within a workout. For example,
followed by exercises
followed by a circuit of exercises
And so on... E.M.O.M., Strength component, Chest, Hamstrings. Whatever the coach wants to put.
I believe this would improve the client experience massively. They would learn as they go and could skip to certain sections within a workout if needed.

Agreed. I placed a similar thread months ago. This is vital

A CrossFit timer would do the trick
EMOM AMRAP, for time
It should be easy enough to add
