This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Having the option to create a nutrition goal based on sugar intake. When we have clients that are pre diabetic this would be GREAT.

    Being able to reset insulin sensitivity and limit / create behavior change in people that seriously need to limit sugar intake.

  2. Overlay weight chart over calorie chart

    When looking at the calorie chart over a given time it would be incredibly powerful to visually show the weight metric overlayed the course of the same time period.

  3. Add custom tags to sort recipes

    Allow coaches to add custom sorting tags to recipes to suit their preferred meal plans. Ie., Ketogenic, Mediterranean, or Paleo meals.

  4. Nutrition Macro rings to show remaining as one logs food

    Change Marco rings to show remaining to eat that day.
    Currently the Meal tracker/Nutrition goals fill in as you log food, (NICE) but continue to display the day's goal, rather than how much more is needed (or not!) for the day. Say if I need to eat 100 g of Protein, and I have eaten 55g, then the center number changes to the 45g MORE that I need for the day.

  6. the ability to also track palm measurements in nutrition and not just calories

    When client don`t want to use scale and rather choose his/her fist-palm-thumb to macro tracking.

    There really should be some easy way to track clients daily routines.

    Something that client can "check" after eating - and coach can track and help the client with...

    Coach should be able to mark the daily goal the same way like with MFP.

  7. switch off meal notification in recent activity

    I want to remove the notification in recent activity that shows X client uploaded a snack, Y client uploaded lunch, Z client uploaded breakfast... my entire "Home Screen" is this and I would rather see they completed workouts or whatever.. more customization on notifications on the recent activity would be nice!

  8. Caloric burn increasing caloric needs

    If my caloric goal is 1400 for the day, and I go for a 10 mile run, then even to continue losing weight, I should/can eat more calories that day...have the caloric burn be able to adjust calorie needs (increase) for the day.

  9. Allow clients to build meals in the app.

    Allow the client to build their own meals by selecting their protein, carbs, and fat from a menu and then utilizing a sliding bar to adjust quantity to fulfill macro requirements. Build an extensive food library to choose from, food packaging QR code’s to scan to get macro nutrition quantities for each item.

  10. Weekly average weight

    We need to have a seperate daily & weekly average weight metric tracker, not attached to measurements.

    At present if we ask clients to take a daily weight it will also ask them to take daily measurements.

    We need to be able to take daily weight, then ask for weekly average weight & certain measurements of choice (decided by coach & client)

  11. Option to turn off Nutrition for Client/Clients

    In some countries such as Australia only nutritionists are permitted to provide meal plans. Having the option to turn off or hide Nutrition would benefits clients that haven't had nutrition consulting with a nutritionist and avoid possible issues with clients.

  12. Multiple Porton Habits Based on Training, Non-training days

    When I subscribe a client to a portion control habit using hand shapes, it allows me to choose which days they should follow this habit,

    But I would like to be able to subscribe them to two different portion control habits so that they can eat more on training days and less on non-training days.

    Please make it possible to subscribe a client to the same habit twice for variations in the amount.

  13. Only complete circles on nutrition summary of all macros met within 5 grams

    The circles on the nutrition summary are fully completed circles when the client hadn’t fully met them. Maybe change this to within +/-5 grams and make it green.

  14. Apple Health Integration For Nutrition Macros

    You currently do not have a connection with the LoseIt! app among others. An alternative to this would be if Trainerize could pull macronutrient data from Apple Health in order to populate Trainerize. I think this would be a great option for those who don't use My Fitness Pal. Thanks!

  16. More customizable options for client nutrition and bio-data tracking

    For coaches who like more data not less, it would be amazing to have valuable information available on a data dashboard. I personally do metabolic testing and I would love to be able to track how the clients metabolism (RMR) has been affected over time. Graphing of ones energy, hunger, cravings, mood, sleep, and water consumption. Most of these could be entered daily by client on an easy 1-10 scale outside of water and sleep which you would just enter oz and hours.   17. Easier access to client's nutrition profile

    Currently, you can only access the client's nutrition profile under goals in their profile when you set them a nutrition goal. I would like this to be easier to access. More like one-click access instead of 5-6 clicks that it takes to get there currently.

  18. Plate method tracking

    Nutrition tracking using the plate method. My clients use a 9” plate making having the plate fruits and veg, 1/4 plate protein, 1/4 whole grain or other carb. I also use the diabetic meal template 1/2 plate is non starchy veg, 1/4 protein, and 1/4 starch. My clients message photos of their plates but it would be nice to have a way to enter this data into their nutrition tracking. Either a way to track meal photos or enter values for the meal template

    More options to share progress reports with clients- an option to share the nutrition compliance/training compliance etc from the trainer dashboard via the in app DMs would be great for keeping clients accountable on the fly

  20. Have different daily macro goals for different days or workout / non-workout days for carb cycling

    I do a lot of competition prep and within prepping meal plans. It would be great to set up different macro and calorie intake goals for different days out of the week. Because it would allow my clients to fully understand carb cycling. For now I have uploaded a pdf version of the meal plan showing that but would be great if that can be adjusted as well when it comes to programming it within your platform.
