Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. drop and drag programs onto exercise days.

    Currently the system is very labor intensive. If I have a program that looks like this ABA BAB I have to enter each day individually into the calendar.
    Plus if I wish to enter an exercise like walking each day, I have to enter in each day, again adding to my work load. I simple tick like " do you want this program to be scheduled everyday?" would solve this.

  2. Add Exercise Progress Graphs to iPhone/iPad mobile apps

    It would be helpful to view a client's exercise progress on i-devices, including all options for locating exercise and graphing max reps/weight/load.

  3. Client Time Zone Changes

    It would be useful for trainers to be able to change the timezone. Almost always my clients timezone is wrong when they set up their account which throws off their workout days... There's a big difference between Kansas USA and Kabul, Afganistan! Instead of contacting each client and relying on them to change it, the trainer should have that capability. Every client that's set up an account with me has had this issue recently.

  5. Repeat workouts and edit progressions by number of days instead of by days of the week

    I would like the ability to create programs and progress them easily without being limited to the 7 day model. I am currently creating a program within a 10 day split, There are 8 separate workouts performed over 10 days. The workouts then repeat with a rep progression. Unfortunately there is no way to enter progressions or repeat workouts except by day of the week. A platform that allowed repeat workout and progressions based on the number of days would allow much more versatility in program design. ie. repeat every 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 days etc.

  6. Automatic Generation of Workout Programs from Trainer or Trainerize Exercise Library

    Being new to Trainerize.com, I had the experience of being a Sharecare Virtual Trainer on the online Sharecare platform and being able to use their fitness platform for the past 4 years. Before they took down the fitness platform this year, trainers were able to choose from a drop-down category the type of client they were targeting (example: Weight Loss), choose the phase level, choose the type of equipment available, choose the duration and frequency of the program (1-3 months), and pick the days that the client would be working out on.   8. Reports based on total volume/load

    Would like to be able to define a "preferred graph default".

    I mostly use "load" to look at total volume and have to reselect every single update or graph since "max weight" is the default (and is getting old). I do not usually have clients changing load within one workout -and when I do it is a planned RM progression like in the conjugate 5-3-1 process.) I would like to select Load as my default

  9. Enable swiping to navigate the app.

    The app would be much more efficient, on both the client and trainer end, if swiping between messages, exercises in a workout, etc... were enabled.

  11. Integration with mailchimp to easily email active and remarket to deactivated clients.

    Be able to integrate with Mailchimp so I can get my list of clients in Trainerize and I can do my marketing mailers in MailChimp.

    It should be broken down into my Activated Clients list and Deactivated Clients list.

  12. ....make reviewing a clients progress via the length of the program not the month.

    Often clients programs are never written to exactly end on the month. This makes reviewing a clients progress difficult because progress is currently displayed over two different months. The progress report should be displayed over the length of the program not the months the program was trained in.

  13. Show clearly when I open up a client's account if there are flagged notes

    This can be added in all the white space on the page opened when a client is pulled up in the training app.

    This way, ANY trainer who is training that client can quickly see if there are certain things to be aware of like injuries or past due payments.

  14. Add additional stats

    There are some basic stats not on the the body stat measurement. Most personal trainers use professional scales or body fat analysis which give more detailed results to track. Including;
    -Body Water %
    -Lean Body Mass %

    There is no 'abdominal' measurement (taken around the belly button)

    Would be good to be able to track these!

  17. Ability to Print / Email Consultation Form to use as a PAR-Q

    Until there is a seperate PAR-Q form, would be great to be able to print the consultation form out. Then we can edit it and add waiver information, print and get client to sign it.

  18. Allow workout stats to be tracked without a wireless connection

    The wifi in my gym isn't always great, so I do all my programming from home. If I already have a workout ready to go I would like to be able to track stats without my iPad being connected to the wifi, then just automatically synch with everything again (like Google drive) when I reconnect to the Internet.
