Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

    I have been sending videos of me chatting with clients. I would like the ability to record an intro video to a workout where I explain what's coming up and what to expect.

  3. Option to "favorite" a workout

    It would be nice to have the option heart/"favorite" a workout for my own personal library when putting together programs. E.g. when I was building a workout for one client, I saw some other ideas I wanted to save and reference later.

  4. The ability to make exercises more than just one type

    It’s ridiculous that an exercise can’t be more than one type. Burpees for example can’t be endurance and strength based? Surely this is an easy fix for you guys?

  5. The calendar on the programs back dates.

    I want to do online training but this app makes it hard because every time i have a new client it starts them on very first month instead of where everyone else is in the program, which makes it impossible for me to keep everyone on the same page. Then if i delete the workouts it back dates everyone to the month they started. It’s really annoying for my clients and really inefficient for me.

  7. Add more body weight exercises

    During COVID 19 can you add more body weight and/or pilates type exercises. Clients have limited equipment at home.Im spending hours adding youtube videos that take clients AWAY from Trainerize site.

  8. Messaging option when structuring a workout/program

    When structuring each workout there should be an option to send a message for each exercise
    Push Up eg If you can’t complete the rep count finish on your knees

    Once you've searched for an exercise, the ability to flag, select or dock an exercise (like a favourite) so it can be dragged into the builder more than once without having to search again and again.

  10. Senior (55+) exercises

    Seniors have different needs. The aging body and various medications limit what can be done. Chair exercise would be one example.

  11. Ability to add just a workout

    Sometimes I just want to add a workout with having to be part of a program. As it is now you have to make it part of a program. I customize the workouts for each person as each has some injury history or limitation. Frustrating to have to duplicate program, rename just to add a workout

  14. Custom Program Length Without Converting to Custom Program

    When you create a program, we can only create by the number of weeks. If you create a 30 day or 45 day program, you have to convert to a custom program to change the length and then the client is no longer subscribed to the master program.
    I'd like to be able to create a master program at any length necessary without having to convert to custom.

  16. Create a field for different content

    We could create not only workouts. But add videos of exclusive content. Videos with online classes on content. I already do that, but I improvise, instead of posting videos of exercises, I put explanations of advanced techniques, explanations on how to perform the exercises correctly. the only problem that when students finish seeing, the data to complete the exercise appears. There could be something to evaluate the content if it was good, bad ....

  17. Exercise Tags - Body Parts

    When tagging exercises as mobility, strength, etc, can there be a column for body parts, not just muscle groups. For example, if I'm doing a knee drive for ankle mobility, tagging "calves" isn't quite as true as saying ankle, as thats the joint you're trying to mobilize, not the muscle you arr stretching

  18. Better exercise search on mobile

    When a trainer or client creates a Freestyle Workout on the mobile app, we desperately need an exercise filter. Such as by Body Part or by Equipment. Something similar to that used to create workouts in the Builder on the web app for trainers.
