This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Be able to edit a habit after it has been added to the calendar.

    Rather than having to delete the habits one by one, be able to edit the habit that has already been created and added to the clients calendar. For example, if a client is consistently hitting their habit goal of reaching 7,000 steps daily, be able to edit the habit to now 8,000 steps, rather than deleting and creating a new habit,

  2. Have the ability to set a Step Goal and that goal tracked automatically

    Have the ability to set a Step Goal, and have that goal automatically tracked based on the steps that are synced from the client's step app. Without having to ask the client to click on their goal to mark the goal complete or not. Something similar to the Nutrition Goals that we set that are auto synced and Goal compliance updated. I am positive all coaches give their clients Step goals.

  3. Content Library

    It would good if there would be a content library in the app. This would let us stand out as trainers and coaches. I mean with content library a drive similar like dropbox or google drive, where trainers/coaches can add educational resources like videos, courses, readings (articles etc.), tutorials, which can clients access by their own to watch and to read for educational purposes. We as trainers/coaches need to educate clients. It would be good too, to be able to create and to name many folders as we need, like fitness, nutrition where the content could be added.   4. A daily habit score card for subjective data ie. sleep quality, mood, digestion, stress

    The ability to set daily habits that have a subjective score would be very useful. For example, the client can rate their sleep quality or mood 1-10.
    Giving the coach a greater look into how the client's week has gone and what may have affected training performance/ adherence.

  5. Have an in app, customizable weekly check in form for clients to complete

    I currently have my clients fill out a google form each week to check in on weekly wins, challenges, biodfeedback etc. Being able to have this option in the app would save a TON of time and less organization.

  6. Goal/Mantra/Motivation on dashboard

    I think it would be really useful for clients to be able to see at the top of their dashboard, (so its visible each time they open the app) a big display to remind them WHY they're doing what they're doing.

    So when they sign up, they can set up their display with their goal, or maybe a mantra they want to go by, or something motivational.

    I think this would go a long way for keeping clients motivated

  7. ongoing habits (no end date)

    I'd like to have the option to select a habit as 'ongoing' on a clients profile rather than have to select a set date for it to end.

  8. Track total weight loss

    I can't believe as a fitness / weight loss app, that there isn't a way to easily see total pounds lost for a client and or total inches lost.

  9. Assign habit to entire master program

    Would like to assign a habit (I.e. drink x amount of water) to everyone in an entire master program instead of each person individually

    I know it's been planned for a while, but I wanted to pop in here and let you all know that we're working on getting this right. It's part of a larger release that will have this feature along with others you will love. It's on our roadmap and will definitely be coming to Trainerize.

  11. Tracking blood sugar level for diabetic clients.

  13. Personalized Video in Habits

    For us paying for a branded Tranerize App, we should be able to edit the videos inside Habits to be videos of us as the trainer/coach delivering the content, rather than a stock video using a model like you have currently. It makes it unprofessional to see videos of random people and not us as the trainer/coach. I believe this is an easy fix!

  14. select multiple habits rather than select individually

    when clients sign up I would like to be able to select multiple habits rather than select individual ones which can be time consuming

  15. customized habit tracking with reminders as well as the ability to add additional fields to the set up of such.

    As a life and health coach I need more habit tracking details. I need to be able to remind them at certain times and give kudos when complete. I need more to go into the custom version of these entry's. honestly, adding a couple generic fields and giving us trainers the ability to customize would be great.

  16. Continuous winning streak on habits

    If the client forgets to update their winning streak on the day they can't update the next day and it goes back to 0, which is the most unmotivating thing for them and most complained about as people do stop sometimes. It takes something as little as this to upset that initial motivation.

  18. Measure Habit Streaks as the number of days since the streak started

    Currently, when a habit is not scheduled for every day, its streak length is counted by the number of times the habit was tracked.

    For example, if a client performs a habit scheduled 3 days/week (e.g. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday), after two weeks the streak is displayed as 6 Days long in Trainerize. An everyday habit will have a streak length of 14 Days after the same amount of time.

    This difference means that it will take a lot longer for the 3-day/week habit to build a Streak with significant psychological weight.

  19. Be able to add "Habits" like a workout clients to check out as opposed to going to the habit menu. You could create programs around habits

    I would love to be able to add "Habits" like a workout for clients to check out as opposed to going to the habit menu. You could create programs around habits and automate this just like a workout program. This is mainly for accountability coaching and saves you tons of time of having to manually add habits for each person

  20. Ability for trainers to enter notes for clients to see on their profile

    Right now, trainer's notes can only be seen by the trainers. It would be helpful if clients could have their own notes section as well, in case we need to have reminders/specific goals for them to see daily.

    Currently have a client who is not going to be tracking macros and instead I am creating a simple guide for her to follow. Unfortunately she can't see it pinned to the top of her profile.
