Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Ability To Merge Exercise Progress -

    Hey!

    I started using this app for about 6 months without uploading my own exercise videos into the app. I wanted the app to have more videos of ME! I'm tired of seeing that man in the blue shirt.

    Anyways my point is I have lots of data and it would be helpful to merge the data from multiple exercises

    When i first started using the app i would program my clients with the auto generated exercise you know the dude with the blue shirt, so i been using the demo of the barbell back squats for a few months…

  2. Ability to track client's heart rate throughout entire workout/cardio activity etc.

    Currently the app only shows average, max and min heart etc.
    It would be GREAT to be able to see a full graph of their heart rate throughout the entire workout/activity.
    This can be pulled from any of the major phone's health apps.

    This would be great to be able to see their heart rate at certain times (spikes) / make sure they're consistent if training at a certain zone. It would pair well with the RPE and other stats.

  3. Ability to Track Habit Trends

    We want to be able to see trends on when people achieve habits, have issues, if certain habits are more challenging than others to attain, etc and make a report.

  4. Ability to add custom client types and have a preset of dashboard

    Set up custom client permissions and roles and give it names like "Habit coaching","nutrtion coaching" etc

    Be able to create your own tags for exercises so it can be categorized based on intended purpose (work on muscle, on a joint, or a specific movement pattern)

  6. MacrosFirst integration - macro tracking app

    MyFitnessPal is old, bloated, and not the best for nutrition planning if your coaching is centered around macro tracking. For this reason I switched all of my clients off of MFP and onto MacrosFirst and I'd really like you to integrate with them so I can see my client's meals, daily macros, and push new goals into their MacrosFirst account.

    I saw a few other coaching platforms supporting integrations with MacrosFirst and I wish Trainzerize would as well. Thanks!

  7. Progression spreadsheet should allow changing # of circuits in interval workouts

    When editing progressions in interval workouts, it would be useful to change the number of times a circuit is repeated from week to week. Right now, I can only edit rest intervals and set duration. Adding this change would make progressing client volume much easier.

  8. Ability to answer a bunch of questions and automatically subscribe correct program

    My clients sign up to a flat price for online training. I have a bunch of programs for beginners,intermediate, advanced or in-gym/at home programs.

    I want them to answer a bunch of questions then based on their answers, automatically select the right program to give them.

    I have clients I have been training for 5 years and having to re-book my permanent clients every 15 weeks or so is a hassle

  11. Volume calculator!

    Allowing people to see the amount of volume they are reaching will help with see progress within the gym. Plus, it is a good way for the trainers to track their clients progress and adjust as necessary. This should be shone at the end of every workout that is completed.

  13. Trainer scores

    A dashboard that shows each trainer score based on trainer performance.

    Allow me to determine how to score a trainer. It could based on messasging reply time, if their client has an active program, has a habit, # of app sessions, etc

    That will allow me to quickly at a glance see which trainers are doing well and who I need to follow up with.

  14. In-app music host integration

    In-app music host intergration or app control of third party music platforms.

    Example: When you use GPS, the software will automatically dampen any other audio from the phone.

    What this would look like in TRZ: Interval Countdowns would soften the streaming service audio and be more pronounced.

  15. More unit options available for exercises

    Being able to choose the type of metrics for every exercise instead of being limited by certain exercises and the provided metrics.

    For example, a TechnoGym - Skill Mill exercise should have a dropdown menu option for choosing metrics like watts, Weight resistance, Distance should have an option for other distance units in addition miles (e.g., yards).

  16. Create a customized option under "cardio" for the calendar.

    Create an option under "cardio" in the calendar while scheduling. When I'm creating my client's calendar I have to pick one of the set cardio to show when our PT sessions are. I'd like to be able to put that on the schedule but there isn't any option. Thank-you

  17. End of Month" monthly summary report

    I think it'd be great to have the system send an "End of Month Report" to each client with stats like:

    Total Workouts.
    Average workouts per week.
    Personal Bests summary
    Nutritional summary with average calories, carbs, fat, protein.
    etc..

    Most "online fitness options" do something like this as a way to give clients a feeling of accomplishment at months end. This would be a great way for us to show how we are helping clients get stronger and healthier.

  18. Change the options for rest time in workout builder

    The options for rest time in the workout builder increase in 5 second increments for 0-60 seconds, but then jump from 60 to 90 seconds. I would like 75 seconds to be added as an option, as well as 2.5 and 3.5 minutes, etc.

  19. Add a warning prompt when unscheduling workouts from the Training Program > Schedule mini calendar

    When using the Schedule feature on a client's training program, you are able to unschedule complete workouts from the Schedule mini-calendar without a warning prompt. Once unscheduled the data for this workout is lost.

    Suggestion: Add a tooltip or warning prompt when unscheduling complete workouts from this mini-calendar.

  20. client to add (assign) custom habits on their own - such as "journal" or "meditate". they should be able to do that for themselves

    this allows for clients to use a single app instead of switching between apps, and the trainer doesn't have to assign every little habit for them. some self-efficacy here I think is useful.
