Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Make it possible to delete the right and left exercises, and add in the new tagged contralateral exercise in the old program.

    Make it possible to delete the duplicated right and left exercises, and add in the new tagged contralateral exercise in the old program....I made a whole year worth of programs, and would love this option, but I would have to make all my programs over again instead of switching the new option out for the old one..

  2. Add a like button for workouts so clients can categorize and find their favorites.

    I have a few clients asking if there is a way to mark favorite workouts so they can go back to find the ones they really like.

  5. Higher resolution video Support for exercises Please! 👍

    Would be great to have some control over resolution for video uploads and display, atleast 1080p would be nice if not Full 4K. Need to be able to compete with other platforms

  6. Ability to view video and type in stats + notes in same window

    I've had many clients tell me how cumbersome it is to have to click out of the workout to watch the video, then back in to type the stats and go to the next exercise. I'd like to see that flow better so they can simply type their stats under the video and then flow directly to the next video without all that clicking back and forth.

    This missing thing may have me switching to PT Distrinction soon.... :(

  9. Sort Exercise Library by video type and whether it has a description

    Add in a sorting or filter feature to quickly find Custom Exercises that:

    • Have no video, have a custom video, or have a linked YouTube video
    • Don't have description text

    Often I will quickly add exercises from YouTube if it is something that I need for a client's plan but haven't filmed yet (and isn't available in the Trainerize Library). I then go back and fill in these exercises with my own custom videos when I have the time, and it would be nice to be able to sort and find these quickly.

    to put it in perspective of how your program will work knowing you hit all of your desired training functions for the day/week.

    Fat loss ;Strength ;etc,

    A1 Hip Hinge (day 1,3,5) Sets 3-4 reps 12-15
    A2 Hip Hinge (day 2,4,6)

    B1 Push(day 1,3,5)
    B2 Push (day 2,4,6)

    Energy system training (cardiovascular) 30 seconds on, 30 off 8-12 sets

  12. For rest timer, give 3 2 1 indication that rest is almost done.

    When doing a regular or circuit workout, when the timer is almost up, there's no indication until it elapses.

    It'd be better if it said 3 2 1 done.

  13. number dial

    When putting together programs and choosing a time based goal, it's super annoying to have to use the number dial to select the time. It's fine if you're on a mobile but you can't design programs on a mobile so i'm not sure why that would be used. I'd like to just punch in the number with my keyboard like a normal person.

  14. Allow clients to live stream their own workout so their trainer can offer advice and tips remotely.

    Basically any client could have the option to do their own live stream so that their assigned trainer can pop in to see what they're doing and give them advice and tips on how to improve form and/or offer different modalities to the workouts they are doing for an added challenge.

  15. An automatic "save work as you go" feature PLEASE.

    You guys, I just deleted the entire workout I was almost finished with due to ****** wifi/weather sitch for the MILLIONTH TIME. I cannot even begine to explain how many times this has happened to me since 2016, losing all of my work, thoughts, focus, time, etc. As a business owner this is VERY frustrating when you must be VERY strategic w/ where your time goes so I'm sure ya'll feel me.   16. change progressions through the calendar when designing a program

    in the calendar view of programming, there should be a way to see all the workouts progressions, i know we can go to the specific workout and change its progression as it appears through the periodization, but i want to look at my 6 week calendar, and change the sets/reps through the calendar view; maybe include a percentage feature, or a Lite, light to moderate, moderate, moderate to heavy, and heavy drop down menu. along with this it would be easier to copy (repeat) workouts, if there was a highlight copy and paste feature from the calendar view as well,…

  17. Add "undos" for one exercise.

    Please allow "undos" to be applied to a particular exercise instead of the whole day. When programming percentages, it is very annoying to refill EVERYTHING for that training day when only one exercise needs fixing.
