Ability for a trainer to present an easier/harder/alternate exercise as options
Sometimes as the trainer, I would like to specify what the alternate exercises are.
For example, the default is push up. But present them to them
Push from knees (easy), push up (default), push up (legs on a box (advanced)
Perhaps having a slider so they can select which version they're doing.
So clients can progress an exercise to a more challenging version, or regress to an easier version by themselves.
Without having to browse all the exercise for the right substitution.1,199 votes

Deliver all workouts with the card by card style
I have been using this program for a bit through one of my employers. One of the biggest comments I receive from clients is the lack of ease during transitions between exercises in the regular format and circuit format. Being who I am, I decided to actually try out the program as a client and do the workouts. I now see what my clients are referring to. Basically, when developing a workout using the interval format, as soon as someone taps the start button, they get a countdown and the workout begins. However, with this format, the trainer can only develop timed workouts. I think it would be great to apply this style to the other two formats in which there is countdown at the beginning of the workout and progress through the workout just like with the interval style. However, when there are non-timed exercises, i.e. reps, a next button can be added at the bottom. The client would then hit the button when they are ready to continue and if a timed rest or exercise is next, it would automatically start instead of having to manually start the timer. I personally found that to be rather annoying and clunky in style to have to start a timer manually during my rests or whenever there was a timed exercise. Essentially, streamline the workout formats to allow better ease of use. Please contact me if you need clarification. Thank you!

Broaden the Trainerize community
I think the entire Trainerize community could feel
More connected and motivated with weekly/fortnightly access to livestream sessions which are then accessible in the exercise library. Kind of like a Trainerize Tribe. Could also include challenges to increase motivation and adherence1 vote
Limit who can edit name and comments for videos
Trainers should only be able to edit name and video for exercises they added them self. Since changes apply to all programs/plans where an exercise is included, one trainer making a change can impact the work of several other trainers and clients. Creating confussion and need to reverse3 votes
Create a side box to record feeling/modifications during exercise on training card
There are boxes to record reps and sets, but not about feelings or mofications for clients.
Example, I am doing a band exercise, I NEED to write down which color the band used was in order to remember next time.
Example 2, I am doing an exercise at a certain inclination or in a certain position, and I NEED to write down where I was or I was positioned.
ATM, reps and sets box only retain numbers.3 votes
Self paced programs vs continuous calendar
It would be nice if there was a self paced program option... where clients can buy into a program and take it at their own pace. It would should the next day of training until it is complete that way the calendar does not continue until they complete the workouts.
Vs the continuous calendar that we have now that moves forward without the client having to complete the training.1 vote
Availability to give an exercise substitute easily without losing the progression planned
I cannot change an exercise without having to do all the progression again... If a client need a substitute, I have to edit thee workout, reschedule the workouts the same days and then do all the progression all over again...8 votes
Being able to delete stock exercises in favor of custom
Being able to delete or make invisible to clients some of the pre-existing stock exercises. Since the trainer can create their own exercise technique demo videos, many end up being doubled up, which is a waste of scrolling time when designing workouts.11 votes
The trainer app is too slow while in training
The app is to slow while a user is filling in their sets and reps... Ok it's maybe 1 sec but it's annoying1 vote
Substituting a workout
I have gotten feedback from my clients stating when they substitute an exercise that week and save their workout that next week when they go into the same workout the substituted exercise wasn't saved and the original exercise was still there... I think it would be beneficial if there are substitutions made they should be saved for the following weeks moving forward so that they don't have to go in and substitute the workout every week.2 votes
During workouts; adding a "comment/ note" sections after each exercise
When my clients and myself are using Trainerize I explain it as a "digital journal". I think it would be beneficial to add a "notes" or "comments" section after each exercise. For instance if I complete a Bent Over Row and my 3rd set was too light at the bottom of that exercise I could make a note i.e "go heavier next week on 3rd set too light". It could be as easy as where it usually says "+ ADD NEW SET" there could be another option saying "+ADD COMMENT".2 votes
Allow any workout created to be saved into a master library for the trainer to access forever
Any workout created should be saved into a master library for easy access. Right now I import workouts client to client and sometimes I can't import due to a training phase. I would love all my workouts to be saved automatically into a library to easily use. All workouts. I created on term clients have disappeared.4 votes
Ability to click and drag to reorder items on calendar day instead of deleting and readding each piece
If you have a warm up, a workout and a cool down, you should be able to rearrange them on the calendar day instead of having to delete / re-add components so they show up in the right order.1 vote
Allow clients to see descriptions for on-demand programs

Being able to make private workouts for full access clients.
Being able to make a workout private so only i can see the intensity and volume for my own records, and accessible for my clients to perform on their own. It would be nice to have the option for both without having to change the type of client.1 vote
