Trainerize

We are continually upgrading Trainerize with new features based on your feedback. Please add a new idea, or vote on an existing idea. This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other trainers can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our trainer community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our trainer community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of trainers and how it fits with the overall vision of Trainerize.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Play circuit straight through uploaded videos

    I record myself doing the reps and tempo I want my clients to go at, so they can do it along with me, these exercises are part of circuit training.

    I'd be great to let the workout play straight the uploaded videos and added rests- AND be able to record the reps they ACTUALLY we're able to do

  2. Organization of workouts from a client perspective

    I have clients who pick and choose workouts on a daily basis. They currently have to sift through 30 pages of workouts. I would like them to be able to see workouts based on tags. For example, "rowing workouts" "AMRAPs", "strength workouts", etc. That way it's easier for them to choose what they want to do on each day.

  3. Better exercise search on mobile

    When a trainer or client creates a Freestyle Workout on the mobile app, we desperately need an exercise filter. Such as by Body Part or by Equipment. Something similar to that used to create workouts in the Builder on the web app for trainers.

  4. Would love to project interval workout on TV

    Hard to see what exercise is coming up next in interval mode. Projecting the workout on TV would be great! Or at least making the next exercise bigger, or even making it bigger during the rest. Thanks :)

  6. Prescribed amount of sets should stick when supersetting movements

    Currently, if you change a set amount and then superset them, the sets revert back to the standard 3. This is a pain if you've updated how many sets for everything, and then decide to go back and superset. The set amount of the first exercise, should supersede and the data should stay, rather than reverting back to 3.

    HERO WODS: Adding Hero WODS would be a great way to have quick add-ons and push to members and give them the ability to measure their current times to their previous times with some kind of dashboard metrics

  10. Track RIR, calculate weights to use each day based on clients 1RM & prescribed intensity

    Calculate an estimated 1RM based on the weights client uses for an exercise, then use the 1RM to calculate weights the client should use for future workouts when there is a prescribed intensity. Give clients the ability to provide feedback using RIR to further track perceived exertion

  11. easy access for clients

    to import their own independent workouts they decided to do, i have some clients who like to do their own thing on their homework days.
    sometimes its a full workout and sometimes its just 1-2 exercises.

  14. Being able to see each exercise listed in each workout on the clients and master program calendar view

    When you open both the clients calendar and master program calendar, the trainer should be able to view all exercises within each workout. So when the trainer is looking at 4 weeks of programming, they can essentially see all 4 weeks of workouts in a clearer, easy to read way.

  15. Can we add a "Total Body" category for adding exercise videos?

    It would be really helpful to add a total body category either in the muscles used, or the type of workout (located where hip dominant, pushes/pulls etc).

  18. Quick Enter Data in workouts

    Auto enter the reps and sets scheme that’s been assigned to the program when created.

    Having this means you’d only need to enter a new rep/set if the client increased or decreased saving massive amounts of time fiddling around with it.
