Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Client editable equipment lists

    Having a tab where the client can add what equipment they have aviable at the gym or at home.

    When I used true coach, this was a really handy tool for programming that the client could input what equipment they had available to them in the gym or a home setting.

  3. Make Freestyle Workouts made in the calendar Duplicatable

    Right now if you make a freestyle workout directly in the calendar on a mobile device, there is no way to duplicate it, share it, or add it to a program after. In order to do this, you must go back in and recreate it all over. I think it would be a great idea if after you make a freestyle workout directly in a calendar you could go back and share it to another clients program, or even save it to a mater program.

  4. Option to erase PRs for a new workout split

    When starting a new split you should have the option to start data collection over again: Comparing your PRs when you have something at the beginning of the workout vs the end, or lower reps or higher rests etc. doesn’t make a lot of sense . It also encouraged clients to go too heavy trying to beat their old numbers when they really should be focusing on that split (if trainers what to keep them that’s also fine but I prefer to compare the PRs for this split and not all time)

  5. Allow the client to be able to swap exercise in timed workouts.

    Clients need the ability to swap exercises in the timed workouts just like they can in the regular workouts. This would allow clients to make modifications to workouts much easier. This is a feature they are offered in other workouts, just not the timed ones.

  6. Be able to restart the workout if accidentally stopped from AppleWatch

    Several times I have accidentally stopped the workout on my Apple Watch by inadvertently pushing the crown or other issues due to hand positions when weight lifting. It would be great to be able to start the workout back up.

  8. Spread Sheet Programming format

    It would be great to allow for a better view of all workouts in a program. Currently you have to open multiple tabs to see what other days are doing. A cleaner view with all exercises and scheduled workouts would be much easy to program for clients with.

  9. allow options for recording resistance other than lbs.

    Allow options in recording exercise resistance other than just lbs. How about exercise band color, time, or inches (for example squats to a box, you could track progress by going lower and lower)

  10. Add a ten second chime to signal rest period coming to an end.

    During rest periods, an added chime at "10 seconds remaining" to signal the nearing end of the rest period. This will signal the client to return to position and prepare for the next set when the rest period is over.

  12. Ability to create and save small sequence of exercises, and load them in workout builder

    I think it would be useful having the ability to create small sequences of exercises (ex. 3-4 mobility exercises for hyperlordosis) and save them in a specific database...
    ..So when I create/modify a workout I should just load the specific sequence I need instead of inserting every single exercise one at a time

  13. MERGE WITH PREHAB GUYS!

    I use "The Prehab Guys" exercise library all the time, and I find that the trainerize library lacks in some programming areas. Is there a way for you to allow us to link to their library (like you do Youtube)? That would be a GAMECHANGER for me! :)

  14. Added Cardio Option

    First, I love the app! Great job!! Can we add "Home Chores/ Yard Work" to Cardio options. I have Moms just getting started and that's a great way to get them up and moving and feeling accomplished.

  16. Ability to remove specific, repeating cardio entries without deleting all cardio

    For example, If I have Stair Climbing and Runing on alternate days of the week, at this time if I want to remove the running in bulk) without deleting each individual occurrence) I need to delete all cardio. Perhaps an option to just delete "running" so that stair climbing remains.

  17. Increase size of the program list window.

    When you have many programs it's difficult to read from the list as the window is too small. It only shows a limited amount of characters.

    It would be good if it opened in it's own winddow so you can be more orgainised with your programs and get a clearer perspective

  18. Add the ability to add weight for banded exercises

    Many brands have weighted bands. With as many home workouts occur, please allow the ability for clients/trainers to input the weight of bands that the client uses/should be using.

  19. Some ideas around 1RM

    1) Being able to manually enter a client's 1RM for an exercise

    2) Using percentages of 1RM to prescribe a workout weight, this is especially useful for the long-term progression of programs

  20. Be able to hide the kettlebell icon so clients can't access their programs unless they're scheduled in their calendar by their coach

    This way we can charge in person PT for programing specifically. Currently the clients can just go into this part of the app and see all the programs we've done in our PT sessions so they don't need to pay extra
