Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Custom rest periods.

    It would be nice to be able to manually enter any rest time we want. At times during “density blocks” I want to decrease rest periods each workout by 10-15 seconds, entering my own rest intervals or having a wider variety of options (every 5 seconds for example) would be great.

  2. Automatically save a master workouts when building it within master program

    When you build a "workout" within a "program", it should automatically be saved to "workouts".

    Otherwise it should be possible to copy a workout from "programs" to "workouts", as it is already possible to do it the other way around

  3. Build out on-demand libraries of workouts or classes

    I would like the ability to separate out sections in the programs tab like "Yoga", "Pilates", "HIIT" and create libraries of workouts/classes that clients can start whenever they feel like it.

  4. Optional skin tone for high five or thumbs up after completing a workout

    After completing a workout, there's the animation of the high five or thumbs up. Have the skin tone be customizable.

  5. Option to change exercises when scheduling progressions

    We need the option to change exercises when scheduling progressions, and not just the set and rep targets. Right now, we have to rebuild the workout when it is time to advance from one exercise to another (progressing from incline pushups to floor pushups for instance). If we were able to schedule out those changes so that we could make progressions with incrementally different exercises instead of just sets and reps, it would save a TON of time.

  7. Ability to have multiple circuits in a single workout with different rounds.

    Currently when creating a workout you have to choose between Regular Workout or Circuit Workout. A circuit workout lets you choose the number of rounds for the workout, but doesn't allow for multiple circuits within the same workout with different Rounds or a combination of a Regular Workout with a Circuit Workout. Another great option would be to allow for a timed circuit to have AMRAP (as many rounds as possible) in a set amount of time.   8. Add a copy and past in to the workout builder. Especially for interval training.

    To build workouts much faster, a copy and paste feature where the (select and) delete exercises or circuit a group of exercises.

  9. Progressions for cardio activities

    Trainerize has incorporated the ability to quickly layout progressions for a particular resistance routine/program. It would nice if we could do the same for cardio with volume, frequency, duration, intensity, level, incline, etc.

    Could you add more rest time options such as
    75 seconds
    100 seconds
    2.5 minutes
    Maybe even a custom one where we can just type in the time

  13. Automatic Generation of Workout Programs from Trainer or Trainerize Exercise Library

    Being new to Trainerize.com, I had the experience of being a Sharecare Virtual Trainer on the online Sharecare platform and being able to use their fitness platform for the past 4 years. Before they took down the fitness platform this year, trainers were able to choose from a drop-down category the type of client they were targeting (example: Weight Loss), choose the phase level, choose the type of equipment available, choose the duration and frequency of the program (1-3 months), and pick the days that the client would be working out on.     I use HR Training for all of my endurance athletes especially. They are trying to hit a certain percentage of cardio work in different "zones". This would be such a beneficial feature!

    Portrait videos need to be supported, they are much easier to view on mobile devices. IGTV is a great example.

  16. Being able to add set variations within the same exercise

    I would love to have the option to add variations of sets within a exercise.

    For example : 3 sets of 12 and the 4 set will be a drop set. On the current design I have to ad the exercise again

  18. edit rest periods in progression window along with sets & reps

    I would like to be able to edit the rest periods along with the sets/reps in the progression set up. as the reps increase or decrease, I would like to adjust the rest time accordingly workout to workout, or even set to set.

  19. Add more capabilities for printing workouts

    It would be cool to be able to download a picture and video for the same exercise and have the option of switching between them on the fly for printing purposes. When I print a template workout, it only shows the thumbnail of the video, which doesn't always show the correct angle of the exercise to be performed. It would be nice to be able to click on a button and change all the thumbnail videos to pictures of my choice for each exercise.   20. more templates for calisthenics and plyometrics

    You need to add more features for drills in between exercises and also to add for the client that looks for a more of a body weighted type exercises.basically free of machime or devices. You can still incorporate dumbells with the plyometrics exercises as an advance movement
