Ability to have multiple open training phases
In the training program tab it seems like there can only be one open training phase. It would be nice to have an option of having multiple open so that the client could keep workouts organized like a training phase with all of their flexibility work, a phase for all their core work. And then from the trainer side, being able to still schedule workouts from any training phase past or present. right now you can only schedule things from their current phase.

Overview of clients training program in a list view
It would be very helpful for regular check-ins if you could see the client's entire training program at a glance (in a list view) and make changes to reps, etc., right there, like in the progression spreadsheet. But not just for one workout but for the entire plan.

Add text option for notes on each exercise during a workout.
Add text option in workout tracker for better notes for progression on each exercise, instead of only having the ability to put numbers. For example: heavy band, green band, short box, 24" box etc...

Having the number out of 10 corresponding to the RPE the client chooses at the end of the workout.
For example, being able to see that "Somewhat easy" corresponds to 4/10.
Some clients would benefit from a more quantitative appreciation of RPE.1 vote -
75 second timer option for “interval” style workouts, please!
Please include 75 seconds as an option between 60 and 90 on the interval workout builder. Thank you!

freestyle
Allow clients to label their creations in freestyle. Such as push, pull, legs, etc.
I have clients that just pay to use the app to track their workouts. This is a common complaint.

Add comment field to activities
For activities (running, walking, elliptical, etc) add a comment field so client can add details (level 15 on elliptical, incline % on treadmill, etc)

Need a dedicated weight field when creating a workout plan
Right now, each exercise added to a Workout only has one field for sets and one field for everything else, Weight/resistance, reps, special notes/instructions.
This is far, far too limiting. Especially in the case of weight/resistance. All of my clients are demanding to know what weight to use, especially because this can vary depending on total reps assigned. They are thrown off when Trainerize shows them previous max weights, which is not always applicable to a given workout. (For example, if we had an in-person session where I figured out their 1RM with them and logged this, it later shows…

After the set of an exercise is done, if there is a rest right after, automatically start it so the client can be taken accountable

Add RPE targets/rating to each exercise and also to progression tables
The ability to see how each client is rating an exercise speicifically and give them a target to hit on this exercise would be great.
What would be even better is if you could also add this to the progression tables. So you might start someone on RPE 7 on an exercise week 1 and slowly through a training block move them up to an 8, then a 9 etc..

Exercises Alternatives
Ability to programme in alternative exercises if clients don't have kit available/busy gym etc -
Client can then swipe across a different variation if needed

Allow you to program weights as a % of 1 rep max in the progression spread sheet.
This would be very practical for delivering an entirely online service and eliminating guesswork for the client whilst ensuring progression on the given exercise.
For example, if you wanted the online client to perform
3 sets of 10 @ 70 % of their last 1rm, you could program this in the progression spreadsheet as 3 x 10 @ 70% as opposed to now manually having to calculate the weight-based of a 1 rm that will most likely increase throughout the training block.1 vote -
Remove rest after last set when building workouts or at least have the option to remove it
When building a workout and adding a rest between each set, there is no need to have the rest included after the last set on the exercise.
Example 3 sets rest 60 sec between each set. no need to have a rest after last set. Confusing to clients.1 vote -
Cardio Description and Notes
We need the ability to add descriptions to the cardio workout. More than what is currently offered. Most plans give clients more structured workouts on time, pace, and heart rate. The description box that is available for resistance training workouts would work perfectly. Give clients the ability to add notes after their cardio workouts. More than ranking their perceived exertion.

Add strength training to activities list
Would love for a client to be able to choose an “open” strength training activity/workout just like the rest of the activity list. Not necessarily to track the exact exercise but to at least mark that a strength training workout was done and how long they were active for. Would be really helpful for clients who aren’t normally doing specific strength workouts but throw some in occasionally. Way easier on the coach too so that we don’t have to add random strength training workouts to the clients plan so that they can be tracked. The only activity currently with any…

Allow clients to pause workouts and come back without having to click "save"
Many of my clients have brought to my attention they would like to be able to pause their workouts. In cases where they need to break up their workout they aren't able to pause a workout half way, just save and finish the workout.

Automatic Rest in Timer
When Rest is programmed in the workout- it is very inconvenient for clients to have to press a button to start/stop, especially in a TABATA or short interval workout where the rests are frequent.
A timer feature to automatically start, rest and finish as programmed would be very helpful. If this is already a feature, please send guidance, thanks!1 vote -

Enable copying of workouts from workout screen and be able to log two clients data while in session, like a split screen function.

Automatically show only equipment used in library of on demand workouts
Some equipment like smith machines are not used for my workouts. If the list of equipment can be narrowed down to the ones used in the library.
