Trainerize

We are continually upgrading Trainerize with new features based on your feedback. Please add a new idea, or vote on an existing idea. This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other trainers can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our trainer community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our trainer community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of trainers and how it fits with the overall vision of Trainerize.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Ability to add a subjective scale rating instead of percentage in goal progress

    For example, setting a goal of “I want to improve my fitness from a 4/10, to a 6/10”. Then the progress scale would show a 1-10 scale.

  2. Being able to amend scheduled calendar items in bulk in

    If habits/check ins etc are scheduled in the clients calendar and these beed to be changed being about to do this in bulk rather than individual

  3. Content Library

    It would good if there would be a content library in the app. This would let us stand out as trainers and coaches. I mean with content library a drive similar like dropbox or google drive, where trainers/coaches can add educational resources like videos, courses, readings (articles etc.), tutorials, which can clients access by their own to watch and to read for educational purposes. We as trainers/coaches need to educate clients. It would be good too, to be able to create and to name many folders as we need, like fitness, nutrition where the content could be added.   4. Allow habits to progress (scale 1-5) instead of "Yes"/"No"

    Some habits, for some clients, might work better with different means of tracking progress (i.e. a scale of 1-5) instead of always being a binary "Yes"/"No" option.

  5. Ability to complete all habits in one day

    When recording habits and ticking off as completed to just click once on the tick box.
    Suggestion: to add a pop up box to ask to record more? If they need to go into more details.
    During a challenge with 4 plus habits a day for the last week, Clients didn't mind having to tick them off but the time it took to click in and then click in again was frustrating. Something with less touch points to record this info all at once would be ideal no?

  9. fragmented habits

    Fragmented Habits:

    Allowing clients to progess on a habit throughout the day

    for example, some of my clients need to be CONSTANTLY reminded to track or log their meal photos --

    A singular habit will remind them to do it once, but once they complete it they fall off for the other two meals.

    A fragmented habit may have 3 parts (depending on what the trainer prescribes/sets) -- and the client can complete the habit throughout the day, seeing their progress (1/3, 2/3, 3/3, etc.)

    This could also be helpful for meditation, like "meditate for 5 minutes, 3 times a…

  10. Enter data under daily task

    We need the ability to add daily habits that clients can enter feedback on. For example: “Track # servings of protein ___” and client can enter a #. Or “# alcoholic beverages__”. They log food which is great but sometimes logging the # of servings (or minutes of a workout, or ounces of water, etc) is very helpful for clients.

  11. Ability to view habit compliance % between 2 dates

    Instead of only seeing habit % for the calendar month, it would be great for clients to be able to see their habit compliance % for the last 30 days (or select 2 dates and see compliance between those dates). Clients who start mid-month have to do a bunch of calculations to find their compliance for last 30 days.

  13. Be able to enter any number for portion guide. Currently limited numbers 1-6.

    The dropdown list only goes to 6. Can we get a scroll to go to higher numbers? I have clients who need 7 and 8 palms of protein. Thanks.

  15. Automated messages for streaks

    It'd be great to create an automated message for habit streaks. Getting a message from the app is one thing, but to have their coach send them a message would push it over the edge.

  17. Add Notes on Habit Tracking

    Sometimes clients have roadblocks or found something that helped them and would like to write them down to ensure future success. Would be great to track those things in notes.

  18. Add a second habits reminder later in the day

    Add a second habits reminder later in the day so that the client can see the first reminder to complete the habit in the morning, and then another follow up message in the evening to make sure they completed it.

  19. Have goals that can be updated daily rather than a 0-100%

    Right now if I set a step goal for the week, they have to update it a certain percentage each day. I would love for them to be able to just click complete for each day they did it. Or have the ability to set the goal for a certain number of days and be able to update it that way. The 0-100% is weird to me.
