Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Progression spreadsheet across multiple phases

    When scheduling small phases so that the client cannot move to far in the future, it would be cool to still be able to use the progression spreadsheet edit function in order to change sets and repetitions.

  2. Ability to widen program/workout name column

    Program/workout names can get long. You need too have the ability to widen the column to get better readability of these names for faster selection. This is just a basic user experience and quality of life upgrade.

  3. Time of day allocation for workouts

    When adding a workout to a day, can you add an option to choose what time of the day to do the workout in? Think this would make it easier for some clients who have time management problems.

  4. Countdown

    Allow a countdown/timer in the set when the client starts the workout

    For example I sometimes have clients to a mix of timed work and reps and it would be nice if when we enter a time for an exercise that there is an automatic countdown like there is for intervals

  5. 531 and other programs

    Programs like 531 are basically a massive pain to program for clients. It would be great to be able to have trainerize figure out the progression automatically from inputting some starting weights

  6. The ability to format text in the workout instructions

    It would be nice to have the ability to format text in the workout instructions (i.e. bold, italics, underline, bullet, number, etc). I think it would help make instructions more clear and appear more professional.

  8. transition periods for the interval workout

    Many clients are saying it is tough when we assign them workouts using the interval style to change from exercise to exercise without any transition time. They feel rushed which is sacrificing their form and getting ready to do the next move. It starts off great with the 3/2/1 and then it just goes one to the next. It would be good to have like a 3 second transition time to change exercises, or be able to choose how many seconds.

    Allow trainers to program workouts that involve choice. For example, Bench Press OR Pushups, Squats or Lunges.

  10. Can the workout progressions save from week to week?

    When I progress the workout weekly, It shows the initial program. It would be helpful if you could see the progressions from the previous weeks.

  12. More bodyweight/calisthenics exercises. Particularly isometrics

    Planches, levers, l sits holds etc.

    The whole bases of bodyweight exercises is that they use progressions to create load.
    Knee pushup
    Regular pushup
    Elevated pushup
    Handstand pushup
    Etc.

    Maybe a option for people to share their exercise libraries to join the main pack. With approval of course. For the greater good. So you dont have to film every possible exercise. You could have guidelines on what is acceptable and then open it up to the community. I would share mine.

    I would like to be able to customize my clients program that relates to my style of Adventure training...
    Swimming
    DWR - Deep Water Running
    MTB - Mountain Biking
    EVENT - Ewan dam Trail Run 17km
    BRICK -Run/Swim/Run or Run/paddle/MTB
    Etc......

  14. An automatic message if the workouts are not marked as complete!

    When people do not mark the workout as complete they get a automatic message and have an option where if they stop marking them as complete for a couple of days they will get another automatic message that we customized.

  15. Weekly automated tracking of specific exercise RPE AND automated weight selection

    Having a system where you can automate weekly weight selections based on the RPE/effort of the workout.

    How this idea came to me is that previously I use Google Sheets as my main source of delivering training programs. For those who are familiar with Sheets/Excel, you can do things like

    EXAMPLE: If the client is asked performs goblet squat @ 20lbs @ RPE8,
    However, the client did it at RPE6, the google sheet automatically fills in next weeks weight/adds next weeks weight to let's say 30lbs to hit RPE8.

    Now I know we can o this MANUALLY on the program…

  16. I would like to have an option to add a "Rest day" button into the calendar.

  17. Being able to substitute exercises BEFORE starting an interval workout.

    Currently only works with regular workout. At the moment the client needs to actually run through the interval workout and only while recording the scores can they substitute.

    This should be able to take place before the interval workout starts.

  18. Ability to record stats during interval training

    It would be both beneficial and excellent to not only have clients track the time they're doing a specific exercise but also the reps and load they are using during interval training, instead of waiting until the end and possibly remembering and recording wrong data or breaking the flow of the training to constantly pause and record only to transfer the data later.
    This would help trainers support and display to our clients the true progress they are making within a given routine or with specific exercises in regards to strength, endurance, and even cardio vascular fitness.

  19. increase distance amount that can be inputed on cardio exercises by clients

    Hi
    If I schedule a cardio exercise or day as ‘rower’, my clients can input a maximum of 999m rowed. Given some of my clients are training to row across the Atlantic Ocean this isn’t enough. Can this be increased to unlimited? Or have the option to input KM’s? Cheers

    Excel Sheets Can be imported even as a pdf for viewing. Eventually have videos be suggested to the exercise content rather than entering one by one.
