Make it so we can copy and paste a workout we have already done to a future day
Say on Tuesday I did a upper body work out that I really liked and wanted to do it again on Sunday, it would be much quicker to be able to copy the workout to another day - at the moment I believe you can only move it completely.

This would be an extremely helpful function to add. As a software programmer I believe this should be very easy to implement

I agree with all the comments under this subject! It is frustrating to have to rebuild your workout every night. Especially for those that are beginners!!! I know y'all are all about and hype up the idea that you set up people to succeed and this would definitely be an add-on to that!

The ability to copy workouts we create (vs building the interv sets from scratch)

Surprised this doesn't have more votes. This would be an incredibly helpful feature to copy a previous workout so that we don't have to go in and find the individual exercises each time, especially when the workouts are the same or very similar.
Any update on the status of this enhancement?

The inability to create and save my personal workouts is so dissatisfying. I should be able to create five different workouts for five different days of the week and repeat them for as long as I wish.
Having to create a workout every single time prior to working out is ridiculous!
I should not have to pay a personal trainer $99 to do for me what I can do for myself.I am so tempted to change gyms.

I use another app for my workouts because I can't build my week and my splits in the app. Do you want people to actually use the app this is imperative

This would make it easier to plan out days or weeks, just plug in your workouts and make small adjustments vs. doing the entire thing with sets and rep counts every time

I agree with what everybody else is saying. It was really hard for me to find all of my workouts and now to know that I have to do the same thing every day is pretty daunting. You save my favorite foods it would not be that hard to make the same option available for a favorite workouts. I really like this app so far but that would make it so much better

Hi Trevor - as it’s been over 3 years, may I ask what the current status of this idea is for the ABC Trainerize team?

So very important as it would make the app so much easier to use when you create your own workouts!

I noticed I was able to move last Wednesday’s workout to this Wednesday (option to move day) which is great; however, the workout was completely erased from last Wednesday and I had to delete the old reps before beginning and it did not give me the option to “start the workout” so my heart rate and time were not tracked. It literally just moved last week’s workout to today with all of my stats from last week? Not helpful.

Everything John W said! Except I wasted slightly less time looking for this seemingly essential feature because I came here and found this suggestion.
We need to be able to save a copy of a workout and then be able to modify the copy without that wiping out the original, so the existing function "move workout to another day" doesn't solve the problem.
What's worse is the "build workout" function doesn't give any suggestions or let you browse categories, it's just a blank search field above an enormous list of cut-off titles (at least on iPhone) until you put something in. It doesn't even "remember" exercises you've previously found and added, so we're forced to find the correct variant of each again from this huge list, and because many titles are cut off on mobile you have to go through multiple screens or sometimes even watch a video to confirm "yes this the exercise I think it is". It's hard enough to do all of that once, but to do it every time, from scratch, is a huge deterrent to using this. Ironically, the list of exercises and variants is so thorough that what would normally be a positive and satisfying experience becomes just that much more unusable and disappointing because it takes so long to find and (re)build your workout elements.

This kind of clumsiness in the app is indefensible.
It screams "go find a competitor app to track your workouts!"
My only option is to stumble through the tedium of creating a workout or move a workout, losing all my records. Ridiculous.

I found the lack of this feature so unlikely that I spent over an hour trying to find the hidden capability. This alone is reason enough to use a different app to track my workouts, or I'll just break out a clipboard. Setting up my workout every time is a non-starter.
Unbelievably, the desktop experience is even WORSE!
I thought I might tolerate it there, but I'm utterly unable to create a workout from that interface. Please FIX THIS. Tracking my workouts is 90% of the value of this app for me.
There are plenty of competitor apps that do this well, but I would much prefer a unified experience with my club. -

Please make it so we can copy a workout and paste to a new day so we dont have to recreate it every time. I usually do the same workouts for 3 to 4 weeks and then it changes. It would be nice to be able to copy paste what i already created last week if the workout is the exact same.

Agree. I hate having to re input a workout that I created 2 days ago.

I’d love to be able to copy a previously created freestyle workout that I already completed.

Important. It's too tedious to go and enter the same workout all the time.

It’s such a waste of time to redo the exercises or move from a day I have done earlier
