Exercise Notes
Create a text box field for exercise notes (seat height/posture notes/etc).

I have my coach enter these types of notes. Sucks for him because it's not efficient

How has this feature still not been implemented? It’s the second most voted suggestion since last year. Almost every other workout tracker app I’ve seen does this. If my coach didn’t use this app, I would have changed a long time ago.

This app sucks . You can't add manually your macros , it does not synch with chronometer, you can't add notes on each exercise like you can on true coach or Hevy, you can't such with Samsung health, you can't even use it on a ipad . Zero starts . My coach transferred to this app and it blows .
I'm not even using this app I told my coach I would keep using the old way of tracking . This app is a huge waste if time and the developers don't seem to care to make the necessary changes -

Just thought about this during my last workout (sometimes I switch machines if one is taken, and the settings are different since they're from different brands). What a coincidence that it's the first suggestion I see in here!

Very much needed having to use Notes app and my photo gallery to track is a waste of time

Comment section at each exercise would be a great asset. For weight and rep adjustment machine positions etc.

So important to incorporate my physios directions on executing an exercise

So needed.

A box where the client can note intensity in either percentage of 1RM, RPE or RIR would help a lot. The coach should also be able to prescribe this.
And also to make a note specific to that client for that exercise, for example what adjustment they used on a machine. Or to note if they did the same exercise but on a different machine, which will likely cause them to use a different weight

For me in particular, a comment section will make it easy to keep track of the different positions my equipment is set. For instance for my incline bench, I have a rack, and it’d be nice to write a note that I can see every time I do incline bench where the position of my weights is so I’m not guessing and adjusting. A comment like “rack at hole 21” would remind me that my Olympic bar is to be positioned on hole 21 on the rack.

Yes please, such as being able to notate what height on the squat rack, or a modification to that exercise for a specific client, or for the client to notate how that exercise went for them. A blank text box would work.

Allow notes to be applied by the user per scheduled exercise day. Allowing the user to remember what and why they did for that exercise. Example; i did 30lb arm curls, next time I should try to move up in weight., or I need to stay at 30lb because I felt it was very difficult.

As many others have said, I’d like to add notes for myself—use the black band, watch your knee position, etc.

This should be a critical feature. It would be great to have the ability to write a note in each exercise such as seat and cable height settings. This way, I wouldn’t waste time scrolling through a seperate app trying to find my notes for the right exercise.

Very needed for clients! I created separate google forms just for this. I export each workout as excel and then allow them to comment on and give RPE for every exercise as they complete it. But clients navigate away from Trainerize during workout to use this.... NOT ideal.

Yes! Sometimes my exercises are more complex than just what is shown, so having individual feedback, not just reps/sets/weight would be great

Have a way to record notes, such as what kind of machine you are using on a certain day. Different machines have different resistance bands/zones or weights sometimes don't align between different machines.

Notes taken during active workouts should be tagged to the specific lift, and then reviewable during any workout so you can see notes taken before. Would be helpful when notes on specific movement, equipment, or set/rep count is wanted.

This needs to happen ASAP! It's important to have clients leave notes for specific exercises and be able to see those notes for their next exercise.

PTD has the option to rate and leave notes for each exercise... not just the workout as a whole. My clients HATE rating their RPE for the workout because in their words, "some parts were a 9 and some parts were a 6 and I always just put it in between to be an average" That's really not helpful feedback as a trainer. And by the time they get to the end of the workout, they either aren't bothered to leave notes or have forgotten what they wanted to say about a certain exercise or they don't remember what the exercise was called. Trainerize is often 'catching up' to other apps IMO.
