Improving the recipes
I believe that not every user has access to the Trainerize recipes as it’s apparently an additional feature that your coach must buy?
I have access to the Trainerize recipes and have tried them as well. I must say that nearly all the recipes have room for a lot of improvement.
They’re not that great and can become very inaccurate when your calories are increased or decreased.
What I mean by this is when I had a calorie increase, my lunch involved eating an entire block of tofu alongside something like 44 sticks of celery!!! 🤢
Having only poor quality recipes for your clients can have a negative impact on a clients fitness journey, because if their diet is not sustainable, enjoyable or realistic, they’re not going to want to stick to it.
There are many other platforms similar to Trainerize that offer incredibly good, cheap, sustainable and tasty recipes. 👏🏼 What I notice about other platforms compared with Trainerize is that they include ingredients and items that are more commonly found in the average diet, eg air fried crisps, low cal chocolates, spreads etc. Not things like blue spirulina or collagen which is both expensive and unrealistic for many people to already own.
