Provide alternate exercises when searching to substitute exercises
Provide alternative exercise options in cases where specific machines are not available to clients (i.e., my gym does not have a standing calf raise machine so I use a seated machine)
Right now it shows the entire list of exercises. It should only narrow down to the ones that are similar.10,551 votesplanned · AdminViktor Djurasic (Admin, Trainerize) responded

Be able to edit workouts or substitute exercises without “starting” the workout
Is nice to be able to plan your routine\workout the night before but to do that you have to start the workout (which starts timing) to be able to edit it e.g add remove exercises- then the document time it took to do the routine is wrong
Not sure if this is because my trainer has my workouts and not me1,088 votes
Sync weight and body fat % from Apple Health
Steps already synchronize, it should be easy to synchronize weight as well. This is especially useful for those of us who use smart scales or are already logging out weight elsewhere.874 votes
Ability to add comment/note per exercise on machine setting/band color etc.
Keep a historical list of comments that I’ve made on each workout, so that I can reference them when I do the workout again. Often I make comments about which machine at my gym I’m using, the color/strength band I’m using, if a weight I used was too heavy or too light, etc etc. and it would be helpful to be able to remember and refer to these things when I do the workout again that way I can be consistent or can adjust accordingly.632 votes
Ability to pause workouts on the mobile app
Like on an Apple Watch when you do any workout you can hit “pause” temporarily. Like say you forgot something in your car and need to run back out. You can hit “pause” vs keeping the workout going or starting it over. Or sometimes when I’m doing cardio outside I see people I know and talk to them briefly it would be nice to hit “pause” and then resume when I’m done.587 votes
Ability to have a guided warm-up before or stretches cool down after
It would be great if the app walked you through some stretches before and had a timer.
Same for after the workout, some guided stretches515 votes
Make it so we can copy and paste a workout we have already done to a future day
Say on Tuesday I did a upper body work out that I really liked and wanted to do it again on Sunday, it would be much quicker to be able to copy the workout to another day - at the moment I believe you can only move it completely.486 votes
Allow resistance band colours / descriptions to be chosen instead of weight
There’s no way to record the type of resistance band used during an exercise - would like to record which band used so you can track improvement through the resistance bands.465 votes

Choose the equipment for workout
It would be really effective if a particular workout plan enables us to choose from different equipments that could be used for the same. For example, how a particular move or exercise could be done with kettlebell/barbell/dumbbell etc., In that way people can always choose from what they have at home / gym.332 votes
Allow the ability to switch from lbs to kg during a workout, and type in the resistance such as, half in mini band.
Being able to switch from lbs to kg in the app and when creating a template. ie: exercise A back squats @135lbs superset with exercise B Kettlebell swings w/ 24kg. Also, typing in the resistance such as 5 box jumps one week client started on a 12inch box but wants in change it to a 16inch box. i.e. Set 1: 5 reps, 12"
Set 2: 5 reps, 16"
Also the ability to write in a band size or color for the resistance. i.e. Band pull apart 25 reps, half inch band or Purple mini band276 votes
Allow exercise substitutions to stick permanently
If I substitute an exercise, it’s not just for that day, it’s for the duration of that split. But my subscriptions always disappear and the original move is back.

Pull workouts from Apple Watch’s own workout app or Apple Health

Ability to add drop sets while in workout
Ability to add drop sets for when you can do more reps you just have to decrease the weight. There's no way to track that so it only shows hOw much I can do with max weight when actually I'm continuing reps, just with less weight. I could add this to my notes but notes don't carry over to the next workout. Inline notes with specific sets would be nice too. Then beside / below certain sets I could see "completed 12 reps with 40lb, drop to 30 for 5."179 votes
