We are continually upgrading your fitness app with new features based on your feedback. Please add a new idea, or vote on an existing idea. This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

    You can change your meal tracker by going to ... in the bottom menu. Selecting Meal tracker and select "In this app".


    This feature is available to everyone with app versions from 7.16 and up.

  2. Interval workout with audio cues so I can follow along without looking at the screen

    For workouts that include timed circuits, include timer and audio cues to prompt me to switch exercises or stop so I don't need to look at the screen.

    We have recently made some changes to the notification alarm. Is it now loud enough? Make sure you adjust the volume with the volume buttons.

    Also for in-app audio cues, you can adjust the volume within the more section of your app.

  4. Auto save so if I forget to save it my numbers don't disappear!

    Whenever I do my workout I fill out numbers as I go, and sometimes I leave the gym and have forgotten to save my workout. Well then it completely erases everything after a certain period and than I don't have weight tracked and will throw me and my trainer off for next time

    Hi all,

    With the new v6 app that just went out last Thursday, if the app crashes or you accidentally quit it, your workout dialog will remain on the top so you won’t lose any data.

    If you are still running into issues with losing data on a poor network connection, please contact us at help@trainerize.com and we’ll love to troubleshoot it with you and resolve it.

  8. Cardio Timer to continue when you close the screen

    When you close the screen as the timer starts the timer doesn’t continue counting down and if you don’t open the app the timer doesn’t start.

  9. Speed app up and have offline

    Loading app up is still slow. And often it loads blank cardio. I have to save and edit to enter details.

    Allow offline workouts to be saved on device do no connection is required.

    We’ve sped up the app with the latest update.

    You can now view your training plan and calendar items with a bad connection or offline.

    You will however you need a data connection if you wish to check in/track workouts.

  10. Add a notes section...to note how you were feeling, if you were sick, tired etc to track how you perform on those days, it times of day.

    A place to note how you felt, you can keep track of how you perform if you're tired, sick, etc, or at certain times of day. Not one that has to be posted to FB either.

  11. Allow to track tomorrow's food the day before.

    I prep every single meal the day before work including breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert and snacks but i’m currently having to track it all the day before on myfitnesspal to make sure i hit all my macros then on the day i add it all the the meal tracker in the app!

  12. Save results during workout.

    Save results in background during the workout. So when the app crashes i dont have to re-enter all data. During todays workout it crashed twice!!!

    In the latest v6 app, it saves in the background so if you crash, it opens up to the same point and allows you save the workout.

  15. Connect to Apple Health

    My dash is not syncing with my HR, Steps, or Sleep info from my Apple Health app or my VeryFitPro app. Please allow for them to sync.

    The new interval timer with looping videos is slowly rolling out but you can manually turn it on via your settings > Advanced > Enable New Interval Workouts.

  17. Have the app availible in lock screen

    Using you phone is a busy gym is a pain having to constantly unlock it. When i set it to not lock i forget to change it back. Make the app avialible from you locked screen once you have begun the workout from the main screen

  18. Enable profile editing and upload of profile pic from within the app

    It's a pain to switch between laptop and iphone and my pics are on my phone - it would be better to enable profile editing and picture upload via the app

  19. Allow the trainer to see the actual food tracked in My Fitness Pal app.

    Right now trainers can only see macros, but I'd like the details of what my clients are consuming to more easily make suggestions for changes that will help them be healthier and lose weight faster.
