Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Sync with Apple Watch

    I take GTX classes and group members wear chest straps to monitor heart rates which are displayed on a large screen. I have an Apple Watch that I use to track activity and monitor heart rate but it does not pair with this system, even though the instructors use an iPad and Bluetooth to connect and display heart rates. The chest straps are not something I would use any other time and are not even sold at the store in my club which makes me feel like they are being phased out.   2. Add the ability to start circuit timer from Apple Watch and display what exercise is next.

    It takes too much time between exercises to pick up and put down the phone. Starting the timers should be done from the watch, and display which exercise is currently being performed (or next). Recording reps/lbs on the phone can be done during the test break between rounds.

  4. Access to smart watches, other than just apple. Incredibly frustrating

  5. Better compatibility between phone and wearable

    If I start/end my workout on my phone it doesn’t always carry over to my watch and vice versa

  6. Allow ability to continue workout

    I have accidentally hit save in the middle of my workout on the iPhone, this then saves and ends the workout on the watch. If I then continue working it, the health app doesn’t get updated with the ongoing workout details.

  7. Sync exercises from Apple Watch

    It picks up Calories and Steps, but doesn’t credit you with a bike ride, Cardio or a Weights workout so sync this information across

  9. Show video/picture of exercise on apple watch app

    Would love to be able to see full video, loop video or picture of an exercise on the apple watch app, just like we can see it on the mobile app when doing workout. There is no exercise details screen on apple watch so I can't see how to perform an exercise exactly.

  10. Allow Suunto watch data to link

    A lot of fitness folks use SUUNTO products. Can you work with them so this fktness data is integrated like a Fitbit?

  11. Showcase calories burned

    When the Apple Watch is synced to the iOS app, it should show the calories burned or, even better, show the type of workout and how much active calories were burned and the have another widget with the total Calories burned that day.

  12. Kill the bugs for syncing to Apple Watch

    The syncing to the Apple Watch is spotty at best. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. The performance app is frustrating, to put it diplomatically

  15. Make it possible for the cheaper smart watches to connect

    So far all I see that can connect within this app is Fitbit, withings, and myfitnisspal. The app my smart watch uses is Hband. Similar to fitbit, it tracks your steps, sleep, HR, BP, goal setting, etc.

  16. Do not start workout in Apple Watch when starting workout in Trainerize.

    When I begin a workout via the app (start now), it ends my workout in my Apple Watch. This is a problem because through the app, my watch doesn’t read my heart rate so data is entirely inaccurate. I’d prefer to start my workout on my watch separately than the app and then just have that workout data synced after the WO has been completed.

  17. Link watch to trainer led workout

    When my trainer is leading a workout and I click start workout on watch I should be able to click “PT workout” or something so I don’t need my phone but it feeds the heartrate / time / calories into the work out he’s tracking on his iPad.

  18. Connect 'other device' option

    This option must be there to connect one's personal fit bands or smart watches with the application. Currently only few defined devices are mentioned.

  19. Sync with Apple Watch under a different activity

    When starting a workout in the app, it always starts as “cross training.” I would prefer an activity option or I’d rather it start as strength training or functional strength training for the watch.
