This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Add water amount in the meal section

    Add water intake in the meal section. Should not be a separate reminder. Look at my fitness pal something similar. Water intake is very important for people who have trouble drinking water.

  2. Can't look up the macros on individual items before I enter and save them.

    Can't find individual macros on each item before entering them. Just gives calories. How can you plan your meals for the day. I have to use Carb manager to plan my meals and transfer the data onto this and my protiens are way off. I have no way of seeing how you calculated my protiens individually, just as a total.

  6. Building a meal by adding ingredients together.

    When you cook a lot at home, you like to play around with the ingredients so just because someone’s taco soup says homemade taco soup it’s not sure that they use all the same ingredients as you have. So what I usually have to do is go and add all the ingredients I use for the pot to a meal, then get out a calculator and do the math to divide it into how many servings that is, and then go back and re-log all of it for a one serving.   8. When I’m on “Today” and click “add meal” who doesn’t it ask me “what meal” before going to food?

    If I’m in the “today” screen and click “add meal” I go right to the list of food. No! I should be asked which meal I am adding first, and then taken to the food page. Now I have to hit “cancel” on the food page, and only then can I pick which meal I’m creating.

  9. Share food log diaries

    Currently my spouse and I are able to copy each others food logs in my fitness pal. We take turns meal prepping and planning meals . We have no switched yet mainly to this reason of not being able to see each others food logs and copy

    At the moment if I want to add the meals for the week, the tracker will not allow, which is not good. I usually plan my week in advance adding all the meals in MyFitnessPal

  12. showing macros for each meal

    when adding breakfast, lunch or dinner etc if it showed the combined Macros for each meal after you’ve added all the ingredients and the amounts.
    for example adding spaghetti, cheese and chicken with the amount and it summarising
    For this meal
    carbs = fats = protein=
    or at the bottom show the amount this meal would add into the macros with the rest included so you know where you are at

  14. Save my common portion sizes in Favorites

    I’d like my Favorite food items to save the portion sizes I routinely eat. For example, every day I have to adjust the measurement unit (from tbsp to cup) and scroll for the quantity of egg whites instead of saving units/amount I eat daily.

  16. Use vision AI to identify the food you ate from photo taken.

    I hate logging everything. Why not use computer vision (AI) to detect the food you have from the photo you take, then add or adjust the caloric intake.

  18. Be able to see your total calories and macros for the week so you can “save” calories for a specific night if required

    Have the ability to see how you are tracking against your weekly total as well as daily. Some days you might eat more and some days less.

  20. Edit a Meal

    Edit your meal after putting in the food tracker. I want to be able to move a food from lunch to dinner or remove the food item from the meal altogether but I can't. I have to delete then add the meal back, bad UX
