ability to set or schedule future nutrition goals and see past nutrition goals
I would love to be able to create a 'new' nutrition goal rather than editing it. Also I'll like to be able to schedule future nutrition goal for nutrition phases and pre-planning of their macros.
I would like to be able to see what we've done in the past as I don't set goals based on % of macros so when the client is losing weight, the calories and grams of each nutrient changes. I would like to be able to still see past goals for comparison and change over time.

This is super important. Right now I have no idea where we have been with their goals. So a "history" of what past goals were and which dates we changed them would be amazing. Especially macros!

The nutrition tracking on this is severely lacking, as well as lackluster.
Here's what I currently do in Google Sheets that I'd like to be able to do here:
1. Ability to select what phase of diet the client is in (gain/cut/maintain/reverse.)
2. Ability to set protein goal based on body weight based on nutrition phase.
3. Ability to set a carb/fat ratio, and have those macros automatically calculated based on total calories minus protein.
3a: Ability to set the calorie goal and have macros adjust rather than vice versa
4. Ability to set a fiber goal (and track it)
5. Ability to set a custom adherence range (a lot of my clients need better than 10%.)
6. Ability to see a complete history of the nutrition updates rather than updating the goal every week.
7. Ability to graph bodyweight vs calories -

Showing growth over time is one of the best ways to help a client see how far they have come. This is critical to get this updated as soon as possible. 3 years seems like plenty of time to get this done. An update on where you are at with this would be great. Thanks!

Like post a photo, complete a workout, have a bubble showing calorie target to hit

Any update on this please? It’s a fairly basic request. Eliminating past adherents to macros because you change/update a clients calories or macros shouldn’t be a thing. This is not the case on other platforms like FitnessPal.

So important

When the Nutrition goal is replaced or updated, it alters the meals from the past to reflect the current goal. At this point, there is no way to stop it from doing that. I’ve had clients question why this happens as it makes their progress seem worthless - even though it’s not. Please can this be addressed?

Strong support for this. Its October of 2022 and this is still not a thing yet ... how can we make this a high priority for the dev team?

Currently, Trainerize allows the trainer to add training phases, I.E. 6-week strength block, 6-week hypertrophy block, 4-week fat loss etc. Being able to set out phases (at the one time) for nutrition to match would be great. I.E. During the 6-week strength block 2800kcal, during the 6-week hypertrophy block 2900kcal and during the fat loss block 2400kcal.

This is so critical. We have a record of all past habits, but not a record of past nutrition/macro goals.
I have hundreds of spreadsheets devoted to this, and they would be able to be eliminated if there was a history log + graphs showing macro changes.

Add a notification for the client of their daily nutrition goal and a notification to track/submit photos for their nutrition.
Would be nice to be able to schedule meal tracking into a client's calendar. Both calories/macros and photo journal

When I am working with clients I often need to update their calories up or down. It is difficult to see true adherence when an update also reflects on past dates. It would be nice if the update only reflected future dates and not days already gone by.

Be able to customize not just the calories and macro % split, but choose to customize the macros, not just % of calories. I make diets periodized over time, starting with set macros and adjusting the carbs or fat every few weeks. A feature like the progression scheduler in training programs would be great for macros as well, to be able to pre-plan the diet progression.

This seems like something that should have been a no brainer to begin with, but hopefully will be developed soon now that they’re putting more effort into trainerize nutrition!!!
