Recipe builder - able to add my own recipe and set servings
It would be nice to build and save a recipe in the app, where we add in individual ingredients and set the amount of servings and have the app calculate macros for each serving. Then we can add a serving of that recipe into a meal when needed.

Unfortunately the lack of this has driven some of my clients to use OTHER apps outside of trainerize.... :(

My clients would appreciate the ability to create and save their OWN recipes in the app, so they can easily load and say "consumed this meal" for a meal each day. Would love to be able to create and save recipes as a FAVORITE to easily input for my meal tracking on a daily basis. They would also appreciate being able to scale the serving size of that recipe easily by adjusting total grams or ounces of ex: if they input a recipe for homemade soup with chicken breasts or something.

I am having more clients not want to use this app because of this. Please please improve having this.

I should add that the mere thought of having to manually log so many times can be a huge deterrent for someone sticking to a diet, which could mean clients drop a trainer, which therefore takes another valuable user away from your platform. Sure, if we really want our results, we'll put in the work, tracking and logging inefficiently included, but imagine if enough people were fed up with this how many users and business owners, alike have abandoned the Trainerize ship in favor of more user-friendly apps..........

100% this. It's so time-consuming to have to parse the math out to manually enter a single serving of each ingredient that comprises an entire recipe, weigh things, etc. I'd REALLY RATHER calculate and weigh portions once/in one go. It's a small thing, but it really can save users so much mental energy.

Yes! This is a MUST!! This is the one area where MFP trumps Trainerize for tracking. I would love to switch all my clients to Trainerize, but most wont due to this feature.

This would be very handy for home-baking. If I bake 30 cookies from a recipe, I can't enter the individual information for one without doing loads of mathematics. The ideal system would be to enter the ingredients in full, then be able to add a 'serving'.

Absolutely necessary for meal prepping. Having the ability to add the mass of all the ingredients in a recipe and save it so when I log what I’m eating, I can just put the total mass and it automatically calculates the mass of each ingredient. It’s way more precise than “one serving” and it’s just simple math (just tedious to do).

This is a feature I miss the most from WW. We make our own meals sometimes. Please let us create recipes!

I created an account to vote on this. The only part left of MFP that is surpassing Trainerize is the recipe maker. You can bulk add ingredients and you can do a link and it'll find the ingredients on the webpage. Having the ability for clients to register their family recipes (breaking down whats in recipe to the trainer) is helpful with adjusting plans to better fit macros/nutritional goals.

This is a critical development especially for meal prepping and adding meals to the tracker with correct servings when you’re cooking in bulk!

With the cost of living crisis, more and more people want to batch cook to save money and time.
This is a critical development in my opinion. -

Can we get this in the app already Trainerize? This feature should have been one of the firsts rolled out if makes the app not at all user friendly for meal prep

For example, if I cook spaghetti, I should have the ability to enter and group all the ingredients I used and then save it.

so when you search you can enter how many servings you ate. I like to make batches of recipes but then trying to figure out how much of each ingredient in one serving is tedious

I logged on to request this as well. It's so tedious to do all the math if you meal prep. The easiest way I've found is to use a separate app then just add a custom meal with all the macros then save that as a favorite

Would like to be able to create recipes that will allow you to put portion size in that would give you the calories like on MyFitnessPal.
