We are continually upgrading your fitness app with new features based on your feedback. Please add a new idea, or vote on an existing idea. This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Ability to Custom Client Tags

    It would be nice if we could edit the custom client tags we create. For example, if we create a tag that is "nutrition" but a month later we want to change it to "nutrition level 1" we have to create a completly new tag, add that new tag to all clients with the old "nutrition" tag, and then delete the "nutrition tag". This is cumbersome for us.

  3. easy access for clients

    to import their own independent workouts they decided to do, i have some clients who like to do their own thing on their homework days.
    sometimes its a full workout and sometimes its just 1-2 exercises.

  4. One location for ALL messages.

    Still new to Trainerize and finding myself, as well as clients, having to search location of messages frequently. IF a message is posted, rather than just a notification, we should be able to see ALL messages in 1 location.

  5. I need an option just to add a type of workout to a calendar (i.e. bootcamp, barre, HIIT, Personal Training Session, Nutrition Coaching, etc

  6. Ability to enter in a privacy policy for each Trainerize Pay product

    Each product is different at our gym and we'd like to be able to customize the privacy policy for each product on our Trainerize account. Entering it in the product description box is not an ideal solution.

  9. Allow trainers to assign a "pending" client status

    Please allow for the trainer initiated assignment of the client status "Pending" (in addition to active and deactivated).

    This would be for when a person is a potential client but not yet an active paying client (ie we have a consult with or they have otherwise entered into the prospect - lead stage process)

  13. Using the advanced progression sheet even if cliënt hasn't scheduled the workouts

    Now we can only use the progression sheet if the cliënt has scheduled the workout. But I cant schedule the workouts for my cliënt because their workout days may vary from week to week. But I still want schedule the progression of the workouts for them in advance.

  14. Have Youtube links made blue/clickable in the workout description for quick access to Youtube workouts/exercises

    Currently, a Youtube link posted in the workout instructions only turns blue/is clickable when viewing workout on the mobile app, not the desktop. I want it to be clickable on the desktop app as well for clients that use the desktop app.

  15. Exercise demo vid side-by-side with the workout instructions

    Had two new clients tell me that it kept interrupting the flow of their new workouts to have the video take over the whole screen, then have to move back to the instructions to see how many reps, etc

  18. Sync Trainerize with Macrostax

    I would love the option to use Macrostax in place of My Fitness Pal or Evolution Nutrition - it's a wonderful tool, I personally love it. Would be amazing to get ppls nutrition tracking all in Trainerize without having them double log in mfp.

  19. Add automated reminders to the coach in the calendar

    Same as automated messages to the client, automated messaged to the coach. Reminders like "tomorrow is the 14th day, call {firstname}" will save so much time instead of searching and filtering tags which are so slow.
