    Hi everyone,

Thanks for your great suggestion! We've added this to our work queue. We'll post further updates here as our teams pick it up to work on it. Please come back to ideas.trainerize.com to add your vote to other ideas.

    Thanks!

This idea is reflected in a number of different ways in other suggestions (I know this because having recently started using Trainerize I came here to make sure you planned to implement it in the near future) I have in fact voted on a few variations of it before finding this one. It's a major weakness of the platform for coaches/clients who care about the quality of performance of each exercise and who care about implementing effective progressive overload. Truecoach and Everfit do it, as mentioned below, for something so apparently simple it would make such a significant improvement in the platform.

I echo the comment of Nicola, it's a major weakness of the platform (quite possibly "the" weakness of the Trainerize programming functionality)

I believe this is the same as asking for the workout builder to be available in the client's calendar, rather than it being only in the programs tab. If this feature is enabled it would be very helpful (for example if we want to add an exercise on the fly to a future workout based on client feedback midway through a program, but without changing the template on their program) If you go for this, it would also be good to be able to add exercises directly within the progression builder?

This could be handled with the "in-workout personal notes" option suggested elsewhere in this category. A free text field next to each exercise in the workout would allow RPE/RIR to be tracked. But, having it as a designated metric and being able to chart it, would be cool too.

This is a feature that is common among the competitor platforms and it would make a significant improvement to the feedback. Having the client reflect on the performance of each individual exercise (or being able to record a client's responses if they give them whilst training in person) is arguably fundamental to a good quality training process - I would strongly argue this is "low-hanging fruit" for improvements.
