This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Have the ability to COMPLETELY bypass the Trainerize site and instead use our own website.

    Currently we are forced to have a trainerize homepage, contact page etc. I think it is outright silly that we do not have the option to just have the log in page and insert a link to our ACTUAL homepage, contact page, sign-up page, etc. into the platform.

    I know I can just give users the "log in" link but this is far from enough because:

    1. The users are instructed, in the welcome email, to go to the trainerize version of my site in order to log in.

    2. Once they sign into the platform if they click on ANY of…

    Hi Barton,

    This is already available. Please go into your site settings > web address and use option 3.

    By putting in your existing site address, any communication to your clients uses your existing site address.

    Just also make sure on your own site, to encode the login button to point to xxx.trainerize.com/app/logon.aspx.

    Any links to your “main site” will point to your own existing site. Your client will not be exposed to the xxx.trainerize.com/ simplified site.

  2. Ability to send a workout from one client to another without having it as a template.

  3. allow the mobile site to show our full websites. Need the ability for the mobile web app to have marketing content too when it's visited.

    Hey guys,

    This is done. If you visit your main trainerize site address, it will load up the full marketing site in the mobile browser. Only if you click sign in, it will detect and send them to download the app to access training functionality.

  4. Create a Mobile Website for Windows Mobile OS handsets (or Nokia)

    I, like many of my clients, access the web via mobile browsers. Mobile websites are accessible on most phones and tablets. It would be nice to access most, probably not all of the content in some fashion on a mobile site. Example) I am unable to access Trainerize on my Windows Mobile 7.5 phone (Nokia Lumia 900) in a mobile format.

    We’re continuing to build out tools shaped by feedback from the community, with more ways to communicate and share updates in-app.


    What’s included

    • Schedule push notifications for a specific date and time
    • Target messages to all clients or selected groups, including segments like trial users, so you can tailor communication and encourage upgrades when relevant
    • Add in-app promotional banners that appear at the top of the client experience for set periods of time
    • Link banners to content, events, or external pages such as podcasts, videos, or services



    You have control over when messages are sent, who receives them, and what content is highlighted, with options to schedule, target, and link as needed.

  7. Trainerize pay for Cyprus

    It's much easier for someone to sign up immediately. Once they leave the page they easily stray off, being able to pay immediately grabs more customers on the spur of the moment

  9. Add payment support in Japan

    I am an American personal trainer in Japan, Would love to see JP payment support and a version of the app in Japanese. I think a lot of trainers here can make their own videos, but would love to have the App in their own language. My gym has 5 trainers as well that wish they could use the app with their customers.

    As a trainer, you can go in a configure their dashboard by clicking on the little gear icon on their dashboard.

    The way you rearrange and turn on/off the graph tiles is the way your clients will see it.

    As such you can invite a client to the platform and then customize the dashboard to way you would like it.

  14. Adjustable Tiles on client dashboard

    My clients don’t need the default tiles currently on each dashboard... I track caliper % .. not generic BF (double work re entering info) I don’t use HR but do track inches ... The updated client dashboard is more aesthetically pleasing but since all of my 80+ clients aren’t using those tangibles for progress the dashboard really loses any ‘quick look’ appeal like it was intended for.

  16. Resting / Active energy tracking

    Would love an update that connects with Apple Health (I see this is already requested) but specifically connecting to reading the data on Active and Resting energy. All great for my trainer to see my on going nutrition but he also needs to understand my energy output to best balance the two

  17. Disable business features such as earn a free month for shared trainers and below.

    Currently, a business owner has no way to disable features such as earn a free month for any of their trainers. Being able to hide such features would make the app feel more professional, especially when using a customised app.

  18. music disruptions , a way to not allow trainerize to shut off music , losing subscribers that dont want to go in to app for this reason

    A way to keep music playing during use of app , having multiple complaints that the app is shutting off their music. I know it doesn't seem like a big deal but in todays world people don't want anything disrupting use of multiple app running. For instance using app shuts down spotify. This needs to be resolved so that clients can jive to the the workout music will make working out a better overall experience I have seen apps like map my run allowing music to be played without disruption.

    There's currently no ability to say how long to rest between supersets, circuits, or just conditioning work to rest intervals in general.

  20. add the ability to "flag" emails or tick as "unread"

    All to often we can over look important emails if they have been unticked. The ability to flag an email would be fantastic to help prevent this.
