Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. Don't have sessions reset each month

    I am going to try and explain this the best I can.

    Scenario as an example:

    I offer 5 personal training sessions and my client has 3 months to use them all. If she only uses 3 in the first month she only as 2 sessions left to use in the remaining 2 months.

    The way trainerize is set up, is the sessions reset after each month. So if I set the expire to 3 months, her "5 sessions" reset after the first month to another 5 and she only purchased "5" so she shouldn't get more.

  2. Being able to set and change a product start date per customer. Sell today, start on Monday.

    Currently, there isn't a way to change the start day of a product per customer. Needs to be able to change the start day, or, if at last there will be a way to sell a product manually without sending a checkout link, to set the start date when you sell the product.

  4. Add a Blog spot/page to the app

    Allow for an additional tab on the dashboard for a blog spot. Adding blog posts add value to online personal training, especially when the clients do not have to go to another site to obtain new articles from their trainer.

  5. Cancel payment -> Deactivate client.

    When a payment plan is cancelled in stripe on a specific date, deactivate that client in trainerize!! We do a month to month program and we have to add a note on a calendar to deactivate a client on a certain day and do it manually.

  6. Installment Payment Plan

    Allow us to create and control flexible payment installments to give our clients the option to a payment arrangement to pay off services and products if they can’t afford the original price. One that the trainer can adjust the price depending how long the clients payment arrangement is set for

 You can create discount codes specific to the client to lower the price. Or create another product with a different payment cadence to suit that client and send them to the product to purchase.

  7. EFT?

    So it seems as if Trainerize sends out an invoice rather than just automatically debiting the money from the client's account.

    If this is the case, then I will just cancel my that feature from my account and stick with Paypal. I don't want to have to worry if someone paid their bill or not.

 You send the client the invoice and the the client can put in their payment information (if not already there). 


    Future payments automatically come off the credit card.

  9. Allow client to purchase a pending product

    Currently client's are unable to purchase pending products and this has to be manually done by the PT in the back end.

    This is counter intuitive for one-time payment programs that have set start dates ie. bootcamp.

    When a clients product is nearing expiry they should be able to purchase the next intake date on trainerize.me without PT interaction.

  10. Exportable invoices and Earnings for accounting purposes

    Allow account owners to collect and export detailed data based on products and earning over the course of the year / quarters. This is for tax and accounting purposes.

  11. one-time package start immediately

    When creating a one-time package, I want it to be able to start immediately. If they buy a 6 week program from me on a Tuesday, I don't want them to wait until monday to start.

  12. Give the option to make products invisable from the trainerize.me site

    For my business, i rent the gym out to other trainers whilst also having my own clients. It would be really good if you had the option to make some products unavailable as it can be confusing for members wanting to sign up if they see additional options that are designed for my back of house operations

  13. Optional visibility for payment plans

    I would prefer not to have every plan I create visible to everyone. I would like to have discounted plans I provide to close family and friends that are not a part of the regular plans and packages I offer.
