We are continually updating your fitness app with new features based on your feedback. Please add a new idea, or vote on an existing idea. This ensures your ideas don't get lost and always visible and other users can upvote your ideas. The idea forum allows us to keep a pulse check on what our user community as a whole wants.

Why should I vote?
This forum allows us to more accurately prioritize ideas to ensure a system of fairness by executing on improvements needed more urgently by a larger cohort of our user community, in order of voting priority. It offers you transparency into what we're reviewing, starting and have completed.

Vote subscribes you to the idea so when its status changes, you'll get notified. 

When does an idea get picked up?
The higher the votes, the more likely the idea will be completed but there is no fixed formula if an idea will be picked up as it is just one avenue we look at. The idea forum is only one of the many avenues we use to evaluate an idea's feasibility. We also factor in your conversations with our support team, in-app surveys, Facebook beta groups,  complexity of the idea, talks with our inner circle of users and how it fits with the overall vision of the platform.

For example, "Portuguese support" was for the longest time in our top 3. But embarking on that would significantly dent our ability to serve our primary English speaking community effectively.

  1. A 3D version of the client

    I would like a 3D person that is like me with my exact measurements. It would convert to your new measurements every week to show your body transformation results. I think showing your animated progress will be very motivating.

  2. Self set active hours

    Hydrocoach allows you to set your own active hours in which you're trying to achieve your goals. My active hours fluctuate and I often miss marking my trainerize goals because my day is not over yet. I would love to be able to set my own hours like I can in hydrocoach.

  3. Sync Fix for App Data

    The polling from Trainerize to the FitBit app for sleep is incorrect. The sleep reported from Trainerize is different (higher) than what FitBit is reporting. It's appears to be scaled or it's returning the decimal value of the minutes and not the actual minutes. I.e. 30 minutes = 0.5. So 6 hours & 30 minutes of sleep in FitBit is being translated to 6.50 and labeled as 6 hours 50 minutes. Or you know it could also be something else....

  4. More suggestions for exercises to enter in the app

    Body stats - ability to compare or view previous entries to see changes, and change incorrectly entered stats.

  6. Provide a focus metric

    Provide a focus metric which allows the user to select from a few options to see an updated current weight/rep (combined) vs previous rather than user trying to calculate if progressing or not

  7. I like seeing what days i logged in and the times that i did

    I like being able to see what days I’ve been to the gym that month and what time that I checked in and out.

  8. Increase the hand portion sizes to more than 6

    At the moment the maximum is 6 palms/hands/thumbs etc. I have vegan clients who require, for example, 10 cups of carbs

  11. Add a widget on the home page to show your measurement.

    Entering measurements seems overly complicated... I added mine and now can’t see them... it would be nice to see a widget on the home page that displays total inches lost and when clicked on takes you to the measurements page.

  14. Ability to track sleep quality and the factors that affect it

    Create a scale in which users are able to rate their sweet quality, then have a section including all the factors which could affect sleep quality.
    IE: how close to bed time was your last meal, how much screen time did you have in the evening, how much caffeine throughout the day and how late, did you wake up a lot throughout the night, etc

  15. Add metrics for tracking training

    There’s wall sits/pushups/mile walk ratings for what shape you are in in some of the on demand apps. It would be nice to add these as additional to scales and body physical metrics.

  17. Weekly calorie target.

    Currently there is only a daily calorie target. Being able to have a weekly calorie target, where it would show remaining calories for the week.
    This would give clients more flexibility to hit their goals, giving them a chance to get back on track if they've gone over calories on a specific day. Setting themselves for success increasing the adherence to any program.

  18. Allow notes

    Allow notes to be applied by the user per scheduled exercise day. Allowing the user to remember what and why they did for that exercise. Example; i did 30lb arm curls, next time I should try to move up in weight., or I need to stay at 30lb because I felt it was very difficult.

  20. Snack size exercise and balance exercises whe you are stationary ie brushing your teeth, doing the dishes etc.

    A 15 minute dance party can be a fun workout if you are short on time or don't feel motivated.
