There should be a way to properly create a new food item and receipe for the app for me to log.
If the food item is NOT in the data base… I should be able to create a new food that I can use again without having to put that same item in with a new weight. I logged tomato from Long Wind Farms. The serving is 118g. But because its not in the database the information, when I log it, remains as 1 118g serving and if I have 120g on another day I have to re-input the food and do calculations for that serving amount. I hope that makes sense. Instead it should be when I log a new…

Alphabetical food list
Under meal planning/tracking, the list of foods should be alphabetical rather than random. Especially under favorites, it would save a lot of time entering meals.

Net carbs
The tracker in the app doesn't track net carbs, which is necessary for the Keto lifestyle.

Load YOUR recipes into the app
Seems silly that the recipes / meals provided to me by my coach aren't already included in the app. Add them so we don't have to take the time to add them manually!!

European barcode (Dutch, German, French and Spanish)
We Europeans like to use the barcode scanner too... And let us create foods and meals with barcode so it will be easy to create foods and meals

The ability to add more than one recipe to a meal
Because Not all recipes make a full meal. For example, I would like the ability to add a chicken recipe and a dressing recipe to “lunch”. Right now I can only add one recipe and add the other as a “snack” (even though I will eat them together)

Be able to alter the serving size like on cronometer
I want to be able to cut a serving size in half of double it out triple it instead of having to enter it as a whole new food with a different size serving.

Meal time selection on past/saved meals
When you are inputting your food for the day and are choosing from your past meals we should be able to allocate them to the meal time they will be eaten not just add as a snack or replace existing (ie, if you are doing it in the morning it shouldn’t default to breakfast)

We should be able to use a PC or Mac to enter in our meals...not just the app. Why is this not allowed or possible? Thanks.

After adding a meal to any day’s nutrition info, allow me to tap on it from that screen to see the nutrition details
After adding a meal to any day’s nutrition info, allow me to tap on it from that screen to see the nutrition details instead of going back three screens to re- type and re- search for that same food item in the database again so that I can see the nutritional details of that item again.

Show amount of serving sizes in list
If you watch your meals it only says 100g (or what ever the serving size is) and *** kcal.
But it does not show how many of those 100g you added.
Example. White rice: 100g ——> 700kcal (it doesn’t show it’s 2x100g)10 votes -

View full recipe after saving to my meals
Need to be able to view full recipes after saving to “My Meals”, “Past Meals or logging in diary. Going back to search is frustrating and time consuming

upload photo from phone with auto use of date and time stamp
In the meal section- If trainerize could use the date and time stamp on our photos automatically to upload photos into the right date and time. Otherwise, taking a quick photo outside if the app when you don’t have time to open it on the go becomes a chore later to try to load it in

Food tracking day before
We should be able to track our meals in the app for a future date. One of the key things I suggest to my clients is planning out their meals the day before so they can plan. Please change this.

Be able to amend serving sizes per food
If we could be able be choose from the recipe guides from each month off the website/FB guides and slot them into the nutrition tracker it would make life so much easier. It was also be good to be able to amend servicing sizes that are pre loaded into the app (i.e.: change 1 tbsp to 0.5 tbsp etc)
So frustrating to have to go in and add every ingredient from a meal for the recipe guide when it could just be clicked and loaded into the app

Being able to enter amounts in decimals for protein, fat, carbs
At the moment I can only add whole numbers to the protein, carb and fat amounts. Most figures on food packages are to 2 decimal points.
You can add to two decimal points on other micro nutrients so we should be able to add to two decimal points in all nutritional information.8 votes -
Add a meal for previous day
If I miss logging a meal for previous day I have to enter it in current day then copy to day before and delete from current day.

Desktop Version - Add & Edit Meals
Please could we have the ability to add and edit meals via the desktop version of the app?
I not really sure why the functionality for this would be removed/overlooked.

PUT THE NUTRITION LOGGING BACK TO THE WAY IT WAS
Up until today I have been able to manually type the # of servings for each item in meal tracking. This is how I track my macros in the app because I use Cronometer which is not compatible. I have an entry for protein (4 cal), carb (4 cal) and fat (9 cal). Then I manually type the serving size for the # of grams I had of each.
Now I can't do that anymore! I can only choose a whole number from a drop down and the highest it goes is 99! Please put it back to the way…
