Take away the voice prompts/audio cues within interval workout
The newest update within the app that has voice prompts within the time intervals is TERRIBLE! Worst idea. For example, a long prompt at the beginning of every single set saying “split squat for 30 seconds”, then interrupting your focus every single time to say “10 seconds left, you got this”. It’s redundant and has the opposite effect of what I’m sure the intention was. Please take the voice prompt away or at the very least provide a settings option where the user can manually turn this off. Ruined my workout today.
Hi all,
You can now adjust the volume of the audio cues. If you don’t want it, you can simply turn it all the way down.
You can find this in the More > Video and audio section.
We’re returning your vote to you so please come back to feedback.trainerize.com to add your vote to other ideas.
Thanks!

Where is the "More" link in the first place?

I would like the option to mute ONLY the voice overs. When you begin a workout and the person counts down, or the motivational “Almost finished!”, and now every 20 seconds the same voice tells me it can’t connect to my Apple Watch. Extremely distracting when you’re in the middle of a hard workout.

Couldn’t agree more! The constant volume changes to accommodate these unnecessary notifications are so distracting!

It’s just too much and mutes other sounds before and after the voiceover. Rather than being encouraging it’s just distracting and annoying.

Options to have countdown and name exercise only not the other “motivational” speech. Doesn’t feel right when doing stretching/mindfulness flow.

Agreed! Please give and opt out option for voice “trainer” and running activity video on screen.

Option to turn voice off is definitely needed. Option to have a single quick beep to prompt user to look at phone would do well.

You have ruined the app with this new addition it’s irritating, not helpful or motivating and has made me rethink using the app. What a horrible update.

The new audio cues are super annoying. Anyway we could get back to the simpler cues?

The new cheerleading voice cues are so annoying that I don’t want to use the app. All I need to know is what exercise is up next. It’s also interrupting whatever else I am listening to while I work out.

The new overvoice is the worst. I dislike it so much I told my trainer that I was going to stop using the app. Please at least give the option to turn it off. Otherwise you will start to lose business, and my trainer may lose me. Otherwise the app was really good

I just completed a workout that now has a male voice telling me 10 seconds left, keep it up and then at 4 seconds “you’re done in 3 2 1. When I hear done I think I’m done. And the music went from normal to low to normal to low at the same point each interval but with no relevance. Just awful changes!
