Sync updates from MyFitnessPal
Currently if you update your entered meals into MyFitnessPal it doesn’t resync into the Trainerize app. It adds in extra food but doesn’t take away food that’s been removed in MFP or amounts that have been updated

Better app syncing with MyFitnessPal

Some clients MyFitnessPal data updates perfectly, others only shows macro and calorie breakdown, and some don't update at all despite them all having connected their MFP. There seems to be no apparent reason as to why MFP doesn't connect and show the same data for everyone.

The app has recently stopped tracking my meals from MyFitness Pal. I had to disconnect and reconnect. Now I’m having to push the sync button every time I update my food.

Seems to be little wishy washy on update daily diet from my fitness pal. Some days it sees all the meals and lately no all of them

The my fitness pal app says that I have synced to the app but it is not. Really annoying

It takes too long for trainerize to update MFP tracking. I wait hours and continuously refresh before MFP finally makes it to trainerize to see if I reached my macros. Some days I would go to sleep with all golden bars and then wake up to it updated and turns out I did not. Please fix, thank you!

Syncing with MFP is pretty slow. There is also a bug that didn’t allow me to connect with MFP, saying that my diary is private, which it wasn’t.
It worked only when I made another account on MFP. -

If MFP cannot be synced in real time, it'd help if the sync now button was moved to the home screen so that when checking tracking against daily nutrition goals, this can be clicked and refreshed quickly instead of having to dive into settings.

The app needs to work properly in general. The meals do not show up or update without my trainer having to get support. The calories burned are never tracked even when my iWatch is on. It takes way too long for the app to update with stats from MyFitnessPal or other tracking pages. Most trainers say to use it because this app doesn’t functionally track. Overall, the bugs need to be worked out for this to be an effective app.

Adding fitness pal in the app

Don't rebuild the wheel, My Fitness pal has a great food tracker and syncs with many fitness products (watch, scale, etc.) Let your app compliment it!

The sync between MyFitnessPal and Trainerize is slow. I never know if my iwatch is acting up or if it’s your app.
An example, last night my my T app wasn’t updating for a while, so I decided to reset my iwatch. Hours later it turns out it was your app. EXTREMELY ANNOYING. This needs to be fixed asap.

Need the Functionality to manually update synced meals from MyFitnessPal, or at the very least ensure the logic used to parse the food diary line items from MyFitnessPal into Trainerize completely overwrites the existing list when pushed to sync. Two days in a row now there are line items showing within Trainerize for my meals that I did not consume because of an incomplete synchronization with MyFitnessPal. There are a myriad reasons why a line item might be entered in error. The client should be able to ensure the nutrition recorded within this fitness app is accurate by way of manual manipulation or the app should completely reload the list when pushed to sync. Either option would solution the current issue. Stay blessed! :)

All your suggestions online suggest issues with mfp but mfp has no problem. It’s your app that doesn’t update after I’ve re-synced manually. At least give us the option to delete food in the app if you’re going to ignore the problem.

I delete a meal from the MyFitnessPal app and Trainerize does not recognize the deletion. Thus, it’s not accurately tracking my calories. Fix the issue or at least allow me to delete duplicate meals in Trainerize myself.

There seems to be a constant discrepancy between MFP and Trainerize. Could you please develop a bug fix so that syncing occurs and reflects the correct data from MFP?

MFP isnt syncing automatically- i have to go in and manually sync every day for my trainer to see my progress.
Would also love to have water tracked via MFP as well.

I am having issues getting the nutrition macros to sync from My Fitness Pal. The only way I can get these to efficiently sync is if I manually go ask the app to sync. Sometimes the delay, if I wait, can be hours, one time it was close to 16 hours. I have tried deleting both apps and re-adding them, I am not sure if it really helps. This can be frustrating.

There does not seem to be an indicator when a synced app fails to sync. Adding the red dot to the tile would help (myfitnesspal sync error, add red dot to the calories tile on the dashboard)
