When playing music, the app lowers volume when the in-app timer is going off. But after it lowers, it doesn’t put the music back up.
This only whappens when the app is open. If the timer comes through a notification, all good - music resumes at normal volume. If the app is open and the timer goes off, music lowers, does not go back up until I go to one of the training videos, play the video, then exit out of the training vid selection for the music to go back up.

Agreed, this still isn’t fixed and it is incredibly frustrating. The volume goes down and to get it back up you have to play an exercise video or close the app and reopen. If you turn the volume up manually the timer ding almost blows out your ear drums. It’s bad in regular workouts but worse in ones that are hiit style /timed exercises where you truly rely on the timer. Please fix!!!!

This volume bug is still not fixed. Please prioritize fixing this!! It makes going to the gym unenjoyable. Sometimes the Trainerize app refreshes randomly after using the in-app sound (the timer or a how-to video), then my music is blaring in my ears because I had to turn it up to hear it.
To the DIYBODY program owners and the Trainerize developers: study the Copilot app to fix this - it’s literally a perfect training application for guided/preset workouts from a coach. It integrates flawlessly with multiple music streaming applications and is less clunky. They have standardized how-to videos that auto play without sound above each exercise. There’s no need to tap into a random YouTube video that’s linked in the app like in Trainerize. It’s time-consuming to use the Trainerize app and the volume varies greatly from video to video because they are all different YouTubers.
The Copilot app also integrates flawlessly with Apple Watch and fitbit, so that each upper body exercise is tracked and logged automatically, so the user doesn’t have to log those exercises. -

I can reproduce this if I watch a training video and then start a timer. Once the timer goes off I have to close the app and restart it to get the music volume back. Looks like there is a flag not getting released. Otherwise it works well for me.

Yes same issue. Very frustrating. Surely it is not too difficult to fix.

SAME issue is happening to me! So irritating. I have been opening and closing a video to "reset" the volume, or just stopped using the timers at all...I'll have to try exiting the app so it's just a notification for now. But hopefully they fix this!
