Ability to search within a specific food category (e.g. search only within favorites)
The goal of favorites or recents (I assume) is to find food quickly that you use often, but my favorites have gotten long and none are in alphabetical order. Instead of having to scroll through them all would like to search within. Search feature brings up results from entire database and not sorted by recent use, favorites, etc.

When searching to add into my log, prioritize a list of my favorites, recently used foods & custom foods. User experience should prioritize my frequently used foods - always. My custom foods or recipes should have a tag so that I can search for those items. Each of these items should ALSO show my last used measurement (e.g., 1 Tbsp of cream vs 1 cup)

I’d like to be able to reorder the list of foods in the Favorites section. My list has become long and unorganized. It would be so much easier if I could group food based on what makes sense to me, like all fruits next to each other, or all breakfast foods at the top—whatever I would find useful.

The recent foods isn’t user friendly. Can they automatically be in alpha order? Can the Favorites and Custom tabs automatically sort alpha?
