Beginner Clarity for Strength Assignments: What “Work 1” Should Feel Like
As someone new to strength training, it’s hard to know what an assigned workout like “Work 1” should actually feel like in the body. Beyond reps and weight, it would be extremely helpful to understand which muscles are meant to be doing the work, how to position the body, and whether the effort should be driven by the hamstrings, quads, glutes, or other muscle groups. While videos are very helpful, real life execution often feels different than what’s shown on screen. A short explanation alongside the workout video describing what to focus on, what muscles should be engaged, and what sensations are normal would make a huge difference, especially for beginners. This added guidance would improve confidence, execution, and results while reducing confusion and potential mistakes.
