Let users export data to .csv or PDF
If a user chooses to no longer work with their trainer, but wants to take their data, there should be an easy way to export it so that it can be viewed as a spreadsheet and perhaps inported into a new system. This should be doable from the app as well as the website.

I have had several clients ask if they can export their exercise data, such as date, exercise name, exercise metrics. With so many new apps with more capabilities, clients want to consolidate their training across apps. Yes, my clients use multiple apps to train. Can we get a way for them to download their own data? Seem reasonable since it's their data.

I am also changing trainers as my old trainer has moved on. I find it absolutely crucial that my personal data is available to me.

I'm switching from one Trainerize trainer to a new trainer. The new trainer should be able to get all my data.

Completely agree, there's nothing more frustrating than losing data when you change trainers, or even change workout routines. I have to back up my info manually. I would say not only should we be able to export it to a file, but it should also be viewable in the app. Like a history menu or something
